Pan bolts will also work loose with a spankin' new gasket. Vibration. Retorque regularly, regardless of gasket age.

Just got done repairing the rear driveshaft on my 40 (had to sleeve it due to barber pole on last trip out) and build another front driveshaft as well (splines were getting bad on the old one). Once the paint dries I can throw them Bach under there and she is just about ready for October!

Stock fj40 springs wanted

Trying to help a buddy out. He is looking for a stock set of fj40 springs in good condition for his wip. Anybody got a set laying aroung after lifting their 40?
 
Can't remember what I did with mine, did you get them? If not, they maybe at the office.

Started at $1,800 and was begging me to come take it ALL for $500 by the time I left. He just wanted me to pay him $500 to so I could clean up his yard.
I'm not whitewashing his fence either!

You'd have to work that pile hard to break even.
