Nolen, when can we see?

Haven't taken mine on the interstate yet, but got it over 70 between old canton and our street. ( little bumpy) but the echo off the hills was killer... Our 40's need a play date.

I know what Charles is thinking:

The red monster needs a new set of shoes!

Or an Apocalypse ready supply of noodles..

what shoes you gonna get, sir charles?

Hit the underside with the pressure washer and the frame cleans up nicely.

I cut the HELL out of my hand on some glass and had to quit.....this is one crappy spot to jam 1/8" of glass into your body.

I was unhooking that chain and I broke a headlight. I then went to unplug the broken headlight and the plug was frozen. When it released my hand flew back into the broken headlight.

She's mad she is topless after being clothed so long!!!

I like that pressure sprayer technique by the way

Got the entire underside pressure washed. The frame is in good shape. The back 45* supports by the rear shackle hangers are rough, but there is plenty there.

I changed the fuel filter and did a Seafoam fog on the carb and pressure washed it all. It is running without that stumble but now it is idling a bit rough until it gets fully farmed up.

I would give it a 90% on running...which is amazing as hell to me.

I took it for a long jaunt today down to a friend's farm that has about 20 miles of dirt/gravel roads. It is still a rough SOB but man, 85* weather and a topless 40 is what it is all about. Cut through a few farms and ended up coming into my place from the north side all on dirt roads. It was a blast.

I forgot my phone so I don't have any pictures....:(

Toyota rear main seals run $40-$60 bucks and after market are only $20......what have ya'll used? I feel this is one part that would be worth the money for the "real deal".

Any one installed one....Coolerman and others say you can do it with removing only 4 bolts from the cover plate but others say you have to remove virtually everything down to the 2 rear motor mounts?!!

This project is down the list seeing as it won't even crank right now but im doing research....

The two times I've done it, it was a "while I'm in there" because I had the transmission out. I used the Toyota part both times.

The one time I thought it might have been leaking, it was actually the oil pan.

im hoping mine is the oil pan but knowing my luck it's both or worse....thanks

Get into the habit of torquing your oil pan bolts regularly. They'll tend to back out due to vibration, and leakage around the pan gasket will create the illusion of a rear main leak. Very common.

If you do need to replace the seal, I vote for Toyota.

4 bolts....LOL

Sea Knight ill torque and see if it stops....thanks guys
