Wood is lying on the floor. I did have to make 2 brackets to hold up the rear of the motor.

Plugs are 1-6 front to back, if I remember correct? Or is it the reverse?

Correct...and firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4.

I believe it to be a fuel/carb problem. If it was electrical it should be doing it all the time, stress on the motor should have nothing to do with it. This is the EXACT same thing mine was doing. Spent about 700$ on the carb,.......then went with AFI. James

Couldn't find anything electrical wrong.

But I DID find a large fuel leak in my weber carb. Somewhere on the side of the carb that faces the valve cover, which I guess has kept it hidden this far. Reached my hand back there while she was idling and fuel is just spitting out.

I guess that could cause the issue, not being airtight?

If so it's either rebuild existing weber (Myron?), buy a new weber, or go troll hole or similar? Don't have the time to source all the parts necessary to go back OEM.

Frustrated...would really like to DRIVE it.

Fuel injection might cost a little bit more then fixing carb but well worth it.

It really depends on what you want to do. I'm sure Trollhole could get you something that would work great. It really all depends on what you want to do. I decided to go with fuel injection and do not regret it at all. It is more expensive; but it has been really dependable, especially when rock crawling.

A carb will be fine as long as you spend the money to get it set up RIGHT.
