Are there any other parts other than what's shown in the below that are needed for the factory air cleaner?

I know i will need the adapter for the weber, but if that is complete, might go ahead and switch. Makes all the plumbing easier and cleaner.

Added the CCOT leveler and it worked real well. Best 22 bucks I ever spent on the 40.

No, I welded a piece of 3/16 plate in and then notched it to fit the latch snug.

Thanks. You should be able to make your own. It's just a piece of metal plate and a new leaf spring centering pin. With your skills it's a 1/2 banana job. Fixed 75 % of left lean.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 74 will have an F engine and drums on all 4 quarters, and maybe a 3-speed?

I paid that same amount for my (mostly disassembled but complete) 76, and felt like I got a good deal.

I would say it's not worth quite that, but at the same time that price isn't too far off?

I was looking for info and scanning the chapter threads and saw you post.
Here are a few pics of the coming thread. I like to finish then post all at once. We all like instant gratification so that is why I have not started a build thread, this machine is a "Hienz 57", with stuff from my favorite years, '77 frame and drive trian, Aqualu tub, 75 top with pre 74 lift hatch, 91 TPI engine, Aussie full float rear, Mojave springs, Corbeau seats, just for a few details.

A new aluminum tub is 3400 bucks before its shipped and I've heard they have fit issues with the hardtop.

Any ideas?

the previous post of pics is an Aqualu tub with a 77 stock cowl, I have installed the sides and bars to the stock windshield frame. There was a little more space, 1/2", than I would rather have had, but nothing that caused it to not come together. I will be putting the fiberglass top on this weekend and will let you know if I have any issues. Pic is looking at it from the back.
