Anybody know where to get replacement bolt/screws for the one stripped in picture?

Anybody know the size? Maybe I can source one locally.

What is best way to get that out? Looks like at least one PO tried to no avail. I hit it with Kroil once a month.

So removed transmission fill plug and transfer case fill plug and tranny was overfilled and the transfer was just right. Maybe the tranny was overfilled last I checked and I was too stupid to know what I was looking at. (highly probable) So how can tranny be getting overfilled, clutch? If rear main seal is leaking where does it go?

The rear main just leaks onto the ground. It could get overfilled if you fill it through the shifter hole.

Ok. Thats what maybe happened. If you remove shifter you can fill through that?

Also, the toyo parts store oil plug gasket did not fit, too small. It took a 24mm wrench to remove the oil plug. What are the best options?

That's the fastest way to fill it.

Just re-use the gasket (its a metal crush washer, right?), I've re-used them several times with no issues.

Next time you order parts, buy ten or fifteen of them to keep on hand.

i'd use a left handed drill bit

Have spent the last hour researching the mini truck power steering conversion. Thinking now is the time to do it, don't want to pull the fenders after I get them painted.

Jeff isn't this what you are running? Anything I need to know before proceeding?

And Georg has all the parts right?

Yeah go with left handed bits, starting as small as possible. Drill through and then move up to next size. As you keep increasing size what's left of the bolt will normally back out.

SOR, CCOT and cruiser corps all have stainless bolt kits for that.

Mike you have bolts that match the rest that I gave you n one of those boxes of parts.

Did it at uptown tire shop. They drained it and then realized they didnT have one to fit so they made one if memory serves. Ihad 2 or 3 but after that last oil change forgot to order more:frown:

Yes the mini truck is what I run. Only advice is run a cooler. Cheap Tranny cooler works fine.
