are these a one off or something one could purchase?
I am not sure, I got them from a friend. I was looking for the ARB style ones for the 105 Series but wasn't sure what was different on a solid axle 100... these are beefy. I'll ask Tim next time I see him.

Looking good. I did the same lift for a time being except I used 20mm spacers. How many turns did you give the t-bars?

I had to re-index my bars, my passenger side got the height I wanted with 5 turns, and my drivers side never got there. Either way, I didn't have a safe amount of droop on either side. So I pulled the front T-bar mounts and rotated them each 4 teeth and reinstalled them then it was about a dozen turns give or take I'd guess.

That would be great. Thanks. I don't wheel enough to justify a bumper right now but a decent recovery point would be helpful in the winter.

I really appreciate you detailing the HAM install like you have/plan to. I'm going to be adding one here in the next bit but am a noob and have trouble getting everything all pieced together.

I'd also love a set of those recovery mounts but if I remember right I saw a thread saying that they weren't being made anymore. Maybe someone has a cad file for them that we could take to a local fabricator to plasma?

those ones arent made any longer but Duiser Offroad makes ones (not as cool looking as those) for the 80 that also fit the 100. I got a set of these from someone that had bought them for their 80 and they bolted up just fine.

I adjusted the torsion bars to bring the front end up. All in all, not a bad way to lift the 100 series for less than $50. I took it to the alignment shop today and had them adjust the front end to get it back into spec. Overall, I am happy with the stance and ride. I am heading wheeling this weekend and look forward to getting it on the trail to see how all works.

I'm glad to see what it looks like with the 285's and TB's cranked. Is the ride much stiffer with TB's cranked? I have a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's in 18" that I've been wanting to try out on a set of Tundra wheels I got last year. I'm ready for a sahara front bumper and black out my gold badges/grill.

My 99 has the 30mm spacer rear and cranked OEM torsion bars.

Original suspension with 160K.

I added the above with a new set of 285s and a front-end alignment.

Drives as comfortable as stock...or stock with 160K miles, anyway.

I thought I read they didn't fully clear the bumper but, if you don't have any issues they would be the ticket for me.

I am not running a stock bumper so I cannot confirm clearance but they are about the same dimensions as the stock recovery point which I removed just much beefier so would assume it would work if stock ones do. I remember from when I was looking into these the original L shaped one like he has supposedly caused fitment issues with some ARB bumper owners but never saw anything about this design being an issue but maybe someone running a stock bumper and some of these can confirm.

No, up front I wouldn't want to make a hard pull on them, they don't hang down quite enough for the shackle to be pulled 90* forward. I'll try to snap a pic. However, if I am in a bind, stuck bad, or really need to winch the vehicle, then these will do the job... and the bumper will take a hit. If I find I really want to use this point a lot (I don't expect to) I will notch the bumper to clear the shackles swing upward. They are bombproof though at an inch thick billet.

It rides like factory... limo like even :grinpimp: If you add a winch or bumper up front you will want to beef up the springs for sure, however at factory weight, I feel no difference in sway, braking (dive), body roll, its the same as factory. The shocks and springs are still tuned to each other and the vehicle, its just the adjustment of the TB's that is different. Once you start adding 100's of pounds of armor, winches, batteries etc... you change all the dynamics of the suspension and you'll want to address it with a different suspension tune.

Got a day off, a hall pass, and a full tank of gas. I ran Kingston Peak, and Barbour Fork in Colorado solo. It was awesome. The 100 really impressed me coming from a locked 40 on 35's, it really wheels great, minus the flex.

Flex! :bounce:

Longer shocks will allow more flex in the rear

Went and played in Medicine Bow in Wyoming a few weeks ago with my 2 sons. We had a błast and ended up in Vedavoo and Bear Lake... Now looking for employment in Wyoming. ;)

We had several fly fisherman ask how we got there, when we said we drove, they looked at us like we were crazy. One guy said, "I didn't know that was possible." They'd left their side by sides before a muddy section and hiked the last mile of trail. Gotta love a mall cruiser, the 100 walked all of it without a hiccup.

Hey!

Checking in to see how you are enjoying the 100...looks like it's still a great fit for you and the family.

Hope the 40 is still getting some love!

I'm enjoying the 100 a lot, I just picked up a se of slee sliders and a Warn M1200 for it. Trying to see if I can build what I want or buy something close for a front bumper.

Been enjoying the 40 this summer too!

That's great to hear! I'm not surprised ;).

We should grab a beer sometime soon

I picked up a set of used Slee step sliders last week from a buddy selling his 100. They've been outside and driven on I-70 in the snow/sand/deicer for the past 6 years. They're still solid but needed cleaning up!

After wet sanding and scuffing them up I shot them with some gloss paint. I love the Rustoleum Industrial Hard Hat paint. I've had good luck with it on my 40 tire carrier for like 10 years.

I used some 3M Step Tape, basically its skate tape and cut the holes out for the screw, logo and drain holes. It came out nice. Time will tell if I need to have it powder coated with texture to make it last.
