Can't say enough great things about weather tech. Great product, great leadership, great company...

Looking good!
So..... we can expect you to join us for 100s in the Hills 5 in 2015?

Maybe, when is the run? I'd imagine late summer where that thing is located most of those trails aren't open till mid summer. But then again, I might skip the crowds and run it with the family ;)

Lookin good!!

Doing good Drew

Thanks fellas, who would think you'd be getting a 40 and I'd be getting a 100 Ken!

Hey Drew - 100 series is looking great! I think it was a very wise choice for you and the family.

Brett

Thanks Brett, you know how bad I wanted that troopie! And that I feel this cruiser has no soul ;) but in the end it makes the most sense for our family plans. Hopefully, some well thought out custom additions will capture some character. FWIW, this thing drives like a limo and I love it.

Cool to see you in a 100 Drew. We recently added one to our fleet as well for the :princess: to DD

I couldn't agree with you more on the way they ride/drive. As 100's age, and modern vehicles get more and more and more and more plasticy, I think the 100's level of charm/character is growing. It's all relative though, they're no 40 by any means.

Do you have different plans for the front seats other than reconditioning? or did you just start with the rears? Our rear seats look like nobody ever sat in them, but the fronts suffered for years in Florida's sun and have hardened and yellowed considerably. I will give the products you used a shot, but I'm doubtful that ours are salvageable.

Thanks Arya! Yes, I am loving the 100 series.

I did work on the front seats as well. I used the leather tech foam cleaner twice (with a few days in between) then the condition stuff. It did soften them up considerably, but they aren't perfect. The rears were more dirty than worn. The fronts obviously get a bit more seat time.

I am thinking about tipping a bottle of 90wt over in the rear of the 100 just to remind myself it is a Cruiser :D

One step forward, two steps back... tangled with a steel/concrete post in a parking lot yesterday. Awesome, first time in 21 years driving that I have hit something :bang:

I'm gonna get a quote and see if I can bang it out and fix it myself and put the insurance money towards a lift/tires. Gotta' explore all the options.

What about going this route: remove the rear bumper cover and either do the lift or use the insurance money to buy a front bumper. Here's a pic from the forum of how it would look (prob one of my favorite 100 pics):

I think they should have saved the green paint money and purchased some sliders. Then there wouldn't be that huge gash/dent below the door. I don't think Drew is moving to the "no bumper" mod.

Well, the show must go on. Getting the ding fixed next month. Bummer but it is what it is...

I added this little cup doohickey from Mr. Toyota. I think Kurt put one in his Death Star build up, at least that's where I think I saw it. It is a perfect little pocket for the unused cap by the shifter. My iPhone fits perfectly in there and doesn't get tossed around. It was about $18 bucks at my local dealer.

Great little storage cubby to keep things from getting tossed around.

Also, got a Weather Tech Mid mat installed before a 1,000 mile road trip with the kids. Already paid for itself in the first weekend of use! :D These things take some abuse and can catch so much liquid it is amazing. Now if they would make one for the seats!

This picture reminded me it is time to do the rear seat cargo net tightening mod. Stay tuned.

And here is a sneak peek at what is next...

You almost NEVER see used 100 parts come up, but when they do, often there is a good deal to be had. I want to give a big SHOUT out to Tim "the man" Nakman for giving me a killer deal on his old sliders. If you haven't checked out Tim's company www.gamaviti.com go take a look at some great gear from a true cruiser head who supports this site.

Thanks again Tim.
