Couple of questions that may be of general interest:
What time are we planning trail run departures?
-We'll be leaving the metro area Thursday after work so we'll be rolling in to camp late night and hoping to grab a few zzz's. We will roll in as descretely as possible to avoid a disturbance but I'm generally expecting camp to be fairly active on arrival night. I chose the fishing trip for Friday to keep seat time low but what time do you plan to run?
Poughkeepsie Gulch, seriously want to do it, signed up for it, but I do NOT want to be that guy.
My '99 is obviously rear locked, mild lift, BFG A/T's and WKOR sliders, not much else. Running an ARB front but have not run air yet so it's strong but otherwise useless. I do have front reco brackets and a rear receiver shackle. Body damage is acceptable, but I don't like the idea of rolling over with the hard shell RTT.
What do the trail bosses and Poughkeepsie Pros think?
I think we decided on 9am departures, the other guys can chime in if I am wrong.
Poughkeepsie Gulch is a fun trail and it really only has one obstacle, The Wall. I made it up with lift, tires, bumpers, sliders and ATRAC. You just have to pick the right line and you will have spotters, so you should be fine.
You won't go wrong with any trail you pick and none of you will be disappointed.
Also, don't worry about "delaying" the group. We have a lot of different ability levels and we will move as one group, we'll get everyone through.
