Amen brother!!! I haven't been outside in a month! It's too damn hot! And we are going camping for the next three days here in Arkansas WTF!

Alright fellas check you email. You should have and email from me and a Doodle scheduler. These are first steps in defining trail rides. Please spend some time to do your own research about the trails listed. There is a wealth of information out there. Thanks.

You leave reality with a trip to Europe and lots of stuff gets posted. I've been too busy enjoying Belgian and German beer to pay attention. I voted for my trails. I don't want to run Black bear since I've done it before and was curious if anyone would be interested in going with me to something like Alpine Loop or Yankee Boy Basin on Sunday.

I have to pick between the fishing run and a wheelling run?

Kidding. Nice work Jonathan, been reading all afternoon about the trails. Can't wait to get up there.

There will be some wheeling on the fishing run. It's easy....Totally doable stock, with one optional line that adds a little fun. The actual wheeling run on Friday will have more traditional wheeling, but no fishing. And, it has one of the most breathtaking views available on all the trails.

Yeah I don't think I'll be able to pass on the wheeling run Friday, too many things that are must see for me.

I'll be getting into town early Thursday afternoon, might try to squeeze a little fishing in then. Or maybe Sunday afternoon. I won't be in any hurry to leave.

MIGHT be tagging along with Nick to Moab.... :)

Couple of questions that may be of general interest:

What time are we planning trail run departures?

-We'll be leaving the metro area Thursday after work so we'll be rolling in to camp late night and hoping to grab a few zzz's. We will roll in as descretely as possible to avoid a disturbance but I'm generally expecting camp to be fairly active on arrival night. I chose the fishing trip for Friday to keep seat time low but what time do you plan to run?

Poughkeepsie Gulch, seriously want to do it, signed up for it, but I do NOT want to be that guy.
My '99 is obviously rear locked, mild lift, BFG A/T's and WKOR sliders, not much else. Running an ARB front but have not run air yet so it's strong but otherwise useless. I do have front reco brackets and a rear receiver shackle. Body damage is acceptable, but I don't like the idea of rolling over with the hard shell RTT.
What do the trail bosses and Poughkeepsie Pros think?

getting pretty pumped, we load the truck up and head to big bend on Saturday.

I signed up for all the wheeling trips and will make the call last minute if we are going to meet up with the Denver crew early.

I have the same worries about Poughkeepsie myself. I have all the necessary mods, but yikes! I would hate to break something 1000 miles from home!

I'm driving 4,000-ish miles round trip. I'd like to see what CO has to offer in terms of real wheeling. I'm up for a challenging trail. Despite being out of my circle (500 miles), I'll push it hard.

Same here. Classes start the 16th. I've got time :)

I'll be debating Moab at the event. I'm too close to not try! We can discuss at camp.

Dude, I'm postponing my move in date by 13 days. The new place is not happy! I also just discovered my transfer case is spewing fluid. So I'm addressing that on Thursday, along with 50,000 other things.

Yeah, but would you rather break something out alone 100 miles from home or with this group 1000 miles from home? ...I would prefer to break with this group if breakage must occur.

Seriously though, I'm not that worried about breakage, more worried about delaying the rest of the group.

I'll be arriving in Denver on Tuesday night. I'll be driving down to CO Springs Wednesday afternoon. If you want to catch up in the AM let me know.

-Nick
