Cruise Control Speed Sensor

I'm getting ready to order a new speed sensor to fix my cruise control function. These units are made & shipped from Oz, and have a flat shipping fee of $150, whether ordering one unit or several. If anyone is interested in buying and splitting up the shipping costs, let me know in the next couple of weeks.
Cheers!

You do realize that your 3FE/91-92 has a cable driven system.

Yes, I know.

See/start with: Post #11. If this electrical sensor fails, you have to repair, replace (NLA), or find another solution, enter the Hall Effect Sensor posted above.

Well. I am super super excited to be able to let everyone know that I think we have it! Manual has everything and is correct as far as I can tell. The other thing that is exciting, is that because the printer is authorized and getting their information from Toyota, we can also get all of the owners manuals printed as well. Small thing, but I am excited :) We are working on pricing and lead times, but they are pretty darn quick since they are done here domestically.

Would this be something interesting as a group-buy? That would help me get our pricing down and I would just pass that through to the forum, thoughts?

Does anyone know where I can find one of these? Toyota doesn't have them anymore and the place I ordered one from sent the wrong gasket.

Having trouble finding one. It is the gasket between the intake manifold and IAC valve on a 1991 FJ80 3FE motor. See attached. THANKS!

I looked through my info I have and could find the main mounting gasket, but not the breakdown of the IAC itself. I would replace with an o-ring dimensionally. Fel-Pro, Cometic, Victor-Reinz have listings dimensionally as well.

I'm down if you haven't already ordered one.

Hi people, just updating….. I did showed my rig with a 2fblock with 3fe cyl head, 3fe intake, headers, etc. in recent days I’ve been replacing the 2f block for a 3f block. The rig got lighter, gained power, torque, etc. all improvements!

Here’s are some pics, and the dyno results comparison between the 2f block and the 3f block.

Who has done an alternator upgrade (120amp or more) for the 3FE? Would you mind sharing the info?
TIA
I have not, but have had good success with a specialty alternator shop to re-wind/upgrade for more output on snowplow trucks. Not sure how much more could be had from the stock housing, but it may be worth looking into.

My shop is Western Alternator in Montrose, Colorado. Pat is the owner & avid wheeler- he could likely help.

What are you adding on your rig to have you looking for more? 👍

Cheers!

i have the 90amp alternator, it was sufficient for my needs (fridge, accessories, etc.) However, i have recently went with dual elec. fans/controller setups and now i am having issues with not having enough amp. to run my elec. fans.
