1992 FJ80 3FE block which has been cleaned and inspected, .014" wear (worst) to cylinders with some pitting from sitting, machinist stated that .030" would clean her up. Purchased this LC with the engine pulled (complete/not opened up) last fall. She's nice and rust free but PO stated she was leaking oil and smoking a little and he was going to freshen her up. After pulling the engine, life got in the way and the LC and engine sat in his garage for a year plus. I pulled her apart and took the vitals to a machine shop for evaluation prior to ordering parts, toying with an LS swap. In the mean time, a running engine showed up on market place locally and I took the easy way out. The LC this came from had 185k on it. Other engine components available as the second engine was nearly complete. $200 I'm in Gulfport, MS and there is a Fastenal local, which is typically the least expensive way to ship. I'll build a small crate if shipping is required.
