Thanks Jim, I was wondering about that. I originally had the mount reversed (on top of the bracket) but I was worried about interference with the gas tank. I'll flip it around (or replace it) once the body goes on. Thanks for checking this thread, I'm no exhaust man so any feedback is greatly appreciated. Do you think there is any problem with my tying the down tubes to the tranny? Seems like they needed some kind of support to assist the manifold. In other words, I don't want to crack an exhaust manifold.

What I would suggest moving the support further forwards - roughly in the bellhousing area. Then add a wire over-braided stainless bellows to each tube after the support.

Got some updates, managed to get another job, totally cut into my 'cruiser time.
First pic, doing some re-wiring, thanks to Pismo62's thread and links from previous threads

Time to lower the body, we had to jockey the frame around a little, but all in all in went back onto the chassis perfectly

Buttoning the clutch line, got rid of the LSPV and reverted back to the old school proportioning valve mounted to the brake booster.

Here are the money shots, couldn't be any happier about the outcome.
Couldn't have done this as easily without the help of Rob and Ciaran. Ciaran had just finished another body swap a couple of days earlier, so the whole process was still fresh in his mind. These guys helped me big time for beer and pizza!

Not running... yet. Still have some wires to hook up and lots of crap to re-install. The brakes work, the clutch works... did I say clutch!! Yipee!
See, she'll be ready for US Thanksgiving :steer:

Hopefully sooner than later. I'd guess she should be ready to roll around Thanksgiving (Nov 25), of course I'll be stuffing my face with turkey and watching Detroit lose again. Love to be driving my truck to dinner though.

Those 33s look PERFECT on a 60 series. Can't wait to do mine up (going with 33s on mine as well, but staying with 4.11 gears). What backspace are you using with your wheels? My new ones are 2.5" backspace.

Thanks guys, can't wait to spin the tires, and speaking of tires (for you Spook) not sure about the backspacing on the wheels. I bought these rims with 38" Gumbo Monster Mudders on them 15+ years ago (what a terrible tire). I ran them for a couple of years on my 40. Not exactly sure how these rims ended up on the 60, they are a 10" rim. The guy I got them from ran them on a Blazer. Oh ya, I remember, the 8" rims that are on the 40 I had to grind a couple thousand off the caliper. Didn't want to do that to the 60 so I ran the 10" rims. I would prefer 8" rims for the 33 x 12.5's, it would give the tires a slightly taller stance. May have to put a call into EBI, and while were talking about EBI I need to send a big thanks out to Steve for the support. Also a big thanks to John from Radd Cruisers. Of course, a big shout out for my friend Rob (you da man) and Ciaran for juggling around his projects to accommodate mine... all for beer and pizza. You guys rock!!
