Sure is, wish I had a couple days off to finish, but just started a new job, don't think they'd see the humour in staying at home to finish my 'cruiser project. If I had a garage tall enough to get the truck into I could work on it in the evenings. Instead I'm at the mercy of the weather right now, need to finish this off before the snow flies.
Got to change my sig line... 5 speed whoo hoo!

I have no intention of running anything taller than a 35 on this truck, I will admit I did hum and haw about doing a SOA. Then I realized that I own a SOA, that at one time had 38's on it, which will find it's way back onto trails. Given the choice between my 40 and my 62, I would part with my 62, I'll never part with my 40 and can't wait for the day it gets resurrected. I'm sure in the end I'll keep both, each have their place, the 40 isn't too comfortable on the long hauls.

Thanks, I have more to add including photos. These short days and work are really cutting into my quality 'cruiser time ;)

You da devil :)
I knew it was you reminding me off missed deadlines
OK, ok, I could have been working on my truck today, in the snow storm, but instead had a beautiful turkey dinner with all the fixin's, some Genuine Miller High Life (not my favourite, but a tradition), wine and a cigar with port wine after dinner. Almost thought that Detroit might win today, but they didn't let me down. Just to finish off a perfect afternoon, Dallas lost (sorry Cowboy fans), tough to stay awake for the third game, looks like it might be a good one. Got shut out of the pool today, that was depressing. I've taken a long weekend and it's starting to rain, hopefully get rid of this pesky snow so I can get some quality time in with my truck... before it snows again.

Update

Been having a problem with the how the 3F-E is running. I figured it was a timing issue, so I started from scratch on the timing. I had to build a remote starter switch, but that was pretty easy. When I first tried starting the truck it ran, but not well. It idled at 1500 rpm and slowly started to overheat. I figured for sure I had the dizzy out by 90*. So I pulled it and rotated it 90, no luck. Then I was more patient and realized I had the dizzy in correctly in the first place. I then starting thinking about other items in the chain and the throttle position sensor came to mind. I looked at the one on my truck (from an 80 series) and compared it to the one on my 60, different part numbers. So I proceeded to swap those around, upon inspection they are clocked differently on the manifold, so I swapped the little bits of the manifold as well. Got out my trusty FSM and went about setting up the TPS. Once again tried to fire her up, no luck, called it a day. As I was cleaning up the shop I had a closer look at the intake manifold and realized that where I had put the feeler guage to measure the TPS was incorrect. So today I re-calibrate the TPS and VOILA! she sparks up. Set the timing and it looks like she is running, I don't have her insured so I can't take her for a burn, but I did move her around the driveway. Got the front bumper on as well as the winch, and I had to redo the rear exhaust hanger (just like Jim C. stated, it fell apart immediately). It still has a bit of a lump while running, but sounds pretty damn good.
