I have a 2f and am going to put on a new head. Was thinking about using a 3f . Is this something that can be done? What are the pros and cons? Seems like bigger valves. More power, torque, etc?

This is a whole can of worms that will require wiring in an ECU, harness, electric fuel pump, moving belt-driven accessories, etc.
First things first, I believe you need flat top pistons in your 2F to bolt on a 3F head.

isn't there a carbed 3f(non usa) that would not require the ecu and other stuff needed for injection?

You will need different pistons. Your better swapping out the whole motor.
Orrrrr....You can purchase the 2F head complete with rocker assembly from me for a measly $100 + shipping.
I agreed with throllhole, A guy down here did that job, he spent a lot of Dollars and the motor is not the big deal .
and by the way there are Carburated 3f , I drove one once and to be honest better to haver a a nice tunned 2F still have more torque.....
