im about to run into a lot of money and am tryin to start planning what i want to do with it. i was wondering if it would be possible to fit a tune port injected chevy 350 stroked out to a 383 and possibly twin screw supercharged under the hood of a 1990 toyota extended cab pickup? i really doubt it but i have to ask.

yea, but dont know about the blower

i want the power so i can climb s*** and just have power... i want a good reason for havin terrible gas mileage! i get 7mpg with my 3vze and have no power to show for it. and what the hell is the point of doin an engine swap if you dont put somethin with some danm power in it?

Just buy mine for $20,000, fiberglass box needs paint but hey your rich right?

holy crap! you have a 383 in that thing!? what the horse and torque ratings? o as badass as that little truck looks i wouldnt buy it for 20 grand... but that is the sickest first generation i have ever seen! and its soo clean lookin. BADASS

Well to be honest,i wouldn't sell it for $20,000, she only has 71,000 Kms on her and the stock box was sold long before they were a dime a dozen, not because it was rusted out but because i wanted something different. It has sat in my garage for more than 17 yrs and only last year did i get an original style box for it. Horsepower, don't know but it will go sideways with a stab of the throttle with 4.11 gears without a super charger.

that is fricken sick! o and mines 90 and only has 52 thousand miles on it... so hold up... you want more than 20 for it??? wow!

I think the first thing you need to invest in is a clue. You want gobs of horsepower, just because. When you know WHY you need that much power, then you'll know HOW to use it grasshopper.

And you want to roll on D44's with 40" tires? Pal I was blowing rear ends and driveshafts left and right in my K5 Blazer with an injected 383 and a race transmission, ON 31's! The only thing you're going to be able to climb is in and out of the truck becasue you're never going to make it out of the driveway. An assload of power doesn't do you any good if you can;t get it to the ground.

what the heck were you doin with it??? constantly power breaking it? and not lettin off when the rear end starts hoppin?

Truenuf rblank, if i remember correctly my rear didn't even last a week and that was with about a 325 hp 327. With a healthy V8 in there things get squirrely in a big hurry and larger rubber compounds it ten fold. If you are dead set on doing it take small steps, start out with a stock 350, drive it with the stock diffs and try to make them last. My son has ideas about getting ahold of mine but there is no way i would let him behind the wheel, both of my kids will be driving diesels.

that doesnt make sense... my dad had 350 horses with a 350 on stock toyota axles and he never broke anything... did you drive it to the floor the entire time?? were you racin it like a honda civic?

I don't pussy foot around. I run my chit hard, but I build it for that. I spent over $2k on a race built transmission and it still could only barely handle the power of the 383 on a STOCK fuel injection system.

Seriously man, I you need to rethink the reason why you're doing this. Because apparently you don't really understand the impending catistrophic failure of 6+ inches of lift....on Dana 44's....and 40" tires. Do you understand how the whole drivetrain works and the limits it can take? Where are you going to go with this thing? the mall?

was that transmission an automatic or standard??? cause i want to keep my truck standard... o and i have recently thought about the lil week dana 44... i want the 44 because its not a huge axle unlike the 60 even though a 60 would probably fit what i need better...

D44s, 40" tires, 600HP, STD Trans, = SNAP, CRACKLE & POP
May as well run Dana 30s, at least they will be cheaper.

I have a 350 in my toy with about 400 hp and 385 ft/lbs of torque. I run a th350 tranny and 205 t-case.
Dana 44 front and 14 botl rear. The 44 sucks. If you wheel hard you'll blow it up all the time. Toy stuff will do the same. You better get some longs and chromo's

those pictures look sick! and yeah i have officially ruled out the d44 but do you think a dana 60 would be too big? like over kill and just weigh my truck down?
