I’ll attach the video Dissent did that addresses the sliders. Ben will explain them far better than I ever can. Overall, I love them. They are very beefy yet low profile, which was important to me. I’m 6’3” so don’t need them for steps, and didn’t want them in the way like the factory ones. I know that some people balk at the fact that they are not frame mounted, but I didn’t like the idea of the AHC bulbs being messed with, and I trust Dissent’s word about their strength. Ultimately, I don’t do crazy rock crawling so I’m comfortable with them.

The wheel/tire combo looks sooooo good and beefy. I love it. With that said, the combo was trying to get right. They are 285/70r/18 Wildpeak AT4 mounted 18x9 Icons with +25 offset. The AT4s are wider than their specs indicate so I had some pretty bad contact when hitting dips at freeway speed and full compression. This surprised Dissent as well as they have had that issue with Nikions and Toyos. They over nighted me a free set of Perry bump stops which has eliminated that issue. No other rubbing. Dissent has been great and has offered to swap the +25 offset wheels for +40. I still haven’t decided if I’ll take them up on that. I just got back from road tripping it home so need to do some wheeling and see how it works.

Good point about not messing up the AHC. It’s such a sweet and capable feature. I would hate to mess with it.

I am really liking earth, especially when it’s all dirty with “earth”. lol. Really stands out in regular city driving and matches so well in its natural habitat.

Picked up my 2025 LX700H OT 2 row yesterday!!! Now I need to remove the roof cross posts, as they definitely add some wind noise.

I love the truck; it is amazingly quiet and smooth. (Coming from 200 series HE)

I'm struggling to accept that filling the tank only gives me a range of 235 miles. Unacceptable.
I drove the truck from Tulsa OK to Minneapolis MN and had it on the interstate the entire time with cruise set at 80. I averaged 16.6 MPG.
The cruise control and keeping you in the lane while driving is good, but the lane change is just okay.
The hood flutter is a thing; I pulled over after only driving 10 miles to ensure the hood was latched properly.
Wireless charging should be called wireless maintaining, as i had it on the charger for over 4 hours and it gained about 15%

These small things still do not take away from how nice the overall truck is.

Congrats. Don’t be discouraged by the fuel range. It gets better with miles. On my way out of my trip to CO I was getting 17mpg tops doing between 70 to 80mph. On the way back it improved substantially to 19mpg and I was constantly getting a range of 310 to 320 miles in between fill ups. This is also not counting the generous reserve Toyota gives you after when the refuel light comes up. I believe if I pushed to the limit I could have got close to 350 miles of range, but it would have been too close for comfort. I honestly don’t think my butt could get more than 300 miles without stretching anyway. I am also coming from a 200HE and the most I would get on that truck in terms of range was 250 miles if squeezing, so for my use case, the OT range is not so bad and I trust it will keep improving. I am at 4200 miles on the odo.

Nice to see another white one! And yes, mpg's will improve a bit with 5k on the odometer. Just did a cross country 600mile trip, 70-80mph, averaged right at 20mpg.

This is because of the generous tailwind you get when traveling west to east. The couple of times I made the trip from TX to CO in my 200 I got my typical 14-15 mpg average with a range of 280-300 miles. On the way back I’d see my average mpg go up 2 or 3 miles and managed to eke out 340 miles on a full tank before I decided enough was enough and stopped to re-fuel.

Good point, but the thunderstorms and showers we got in west Texas on Friday probably negated the tail wind on Saturday. Who knows? On a side note, I felt the OT even more planted in inclement weather than my 200. It is an amazing 4wheel drive system. I will keep an eye out as to how it behaves now in city driving. Did you really get 340 miles in one tank with the 200? I assume it was bone bone stock, right? I could never get even close to 300 with KO3s and no other mods.

Yes mine is still bone stock on factory Dunlop’s lol.

*Edit to add I pushed it probably as far as it would go. I was heading east on I-40 and drove about 20-25 miles with the low fuel light on. Luckily found a hole in the wall station in Tucumcari near Route 66. I was puckered up tight expecting to run dry any minute! 😅

Congrats on the sweet new ride, storm trooper is so good.
The oem cross bars are loud but i just close the sunroof screen and it’s fine. They will come off after ski season (if i can actually figure out how to get to the fing bolts. The cover is on tight.).
I just did a trip to Whistler and averaged 19mpg as measured at the pump (with skis in the rack).
A couple observations:
65-70 is the best for mileage. Faster and it goes down.
I set a custom drive mode to all normal except for the engine in eco. I use that with the auto cruise and the truck does a good job of getting the best mileage.
My in town mpg has gotten better in even the first 1k miles.
The estimated “distance to empty” function is complete crap. I have no idea how Toyota computes it. Don’t trust it. Way way way too conservative. It depresses me.

How is the wind noise with the roof rack? Curious if i want to pull the trigger or not.
Pretty much a non issue. With the cover closed there’s no change or impact at all. With it open, maybe a very small increase but not enough that I really noticed it. Now with the sunroof glass fully open, it has a bit more rough airflow, mainly due to a cross bar being across that space. I had the cover (but not glass) open for a majority of my 2k miles driven since the build, and it hasn’t bothered me.

Cool thanks. I was worried about a whistling or a high pitch noise. I really don't mind the normal wind noise but the high pitch ones are pretty annoying. That's what i hear when i have the OEM crossbar installed. Definitely looking into this roof rack.

Now, after removing mine, the truck is definitely quieter.... But I am very sensitive to that. Once you put on music and don't pay attention to little things, it isnt a big deal.

If you want cross bars I am letting mine go.

Hi All 👋 I finally got through this thread and figured to post my LC300 GR-S HEV I bought in Saudi Arabia in Aug 2025.

I grew up in the USA, visiting my dad's family in Saudi Arabia every few summers. I saw Toyota Land Cruisers and Nissan Patrols as 2-doors, 4-doors, as single and dual cab trucks, and would return to the US wondering why we didnt have them. I dreamed of buying a LC, and have rented them from time to time during the winters in Riyadh for desert trips.

So buying this land cruiser was a dream come true, until I realized how the hybrid was different from non-HEV version 😄 and I hadn't read up on the hybrid at all 😆 I was just happy Toyota had an LC300 GR-S in stock that wasn't diesel, and I could buy it from the Saudi dealership. My ADHD took over when talking to salesperson and the rest is history.

I only have two issues with it, and they seem to bother people on this thread. This actually drove me so crazy, I listed the car for sale within the first month owning it: 1) fuel tank size and 2) cramped 3rd row. After much debate with my wife and friends, I finally started to come around to the car.

I've only done a single morning of dune runs so far, due to travels and family commitments, but that one morning was something else! It was amazing 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 equally important, the family much prefers this over the LC70 single cab that I was considering 😄

Someone recently offered to buy the car, and I turned it down and removed the listing.

I will be looking into removing the 3rd row and possibly getting the fuel tank switched from the 68L to 110L as a single main tank. I believe the markets of the US LX700H and the Australian LC300 GR-S HEV (supposed to launch March 2026) will drive aftermarket modification companies to build solutions for the tanks.

I will keep the car stock for this winter and hope to make updates by Sept 2026.

Also, I recently went to Japan and made it to Land Cruiser Base! They were updating the GR-S raffle winners with the Rally Raid kits that was exclusively offered in Japan this past fall. These are rally specific parts. The special offer was raffle for 12 new cars with the upgrades, and raffle 12 upgrade kits for current owners. I got to see one of them as it was coming out from the wash and going to the owner! I felt like a kid in a toy store 😄

Some pics are pre/post removing side chrome and red decals, Japan trip, LC70 truck rental, and my interior.

Let's get this straight. You live in Saudi Arabia, was able to buy this amazing 300 GR Sport and almost sold it? Then you come here and post this sin for us here in the US? Gadammit! Do you want to get expelled from the Forum or possibly lynched?! LOL. 😅
