The old radiator in my F is really ratty, so I need to replace it. Radiator Barn has 3 and 4-row radiators. Do I need a 4-row for an F engine? Is it worth the extra cost? I really don't have overheating issues as it is. Thanks for any advice.

There isn't much of a price difference between the two is there? I would definitely go 4-Row. I ordered one from them severla months ago and have been very pleased.

GO 4

I Just Got A 4-core Radiator From Raditor Barn And It Looks Awsome. Still Havn't Put It In. Basically Keeping Your Engine Cool Is The Best Way To Prolong It's Life. The 4 Core Was Only About 25 Buck More. Go 4.

Just because it has 4 rows, does not make it better.

By the time the air blows off the 1 you have generated some heat, the second more heat, the third and its practically useless, and the forth will be hot.
Keep that in mind, More is not always better.

Get an aluminum crossflow, with 3 rows. Might run you about $500, but it's worth it.

Original F's don't have overheating problems, and if you do it's serious.

for an F engine, stock should be fine, but a four row should be more than good to keep the engine cool.

On V8's, aluminum all the way. I have a 4 row stock in my v8 and it's just not enough cooling power, even with the taurus fan. It does ok, but during the summers it can get hot, eventually I will go to an alumunum unit.
