Edit: this was a group buy and page 2 on have install reports for future reference if any one is looking for more details on the gears.

I'll be ordering a few sets from Marks4wd in Australia they are stock for some of the diesels over there from what i understand. we can bring the price down some with multiple sets and shipping them over here as a group i'm estimating $1400-1500 for the set front and rear maybe a touch less.

i know there are going to be some crazy comments here are some details of what it will do for RPM vs tire size. Rubber overdrive cost this much and have to be replaced more frequently have vibration and wear issues and cause extra stress. i understand some people want big rubber that's cool some don't here is a way to get the rpm down more than a tire can with less issues i'll probably end up with 33-34" tire.

the RPM vs Speed graph is each gear 1-4 on a A343F yes the torque converter does change the input. this is assuming locked torque converter in all gears just for quick reference no slip best case.

I just got my 4bd1t swap up and running. I haven't had a chance to drive it at highway speeds yet as I am still tidying things up. Depending on how it drives at speed I might be interested in regearing. I am running 35" tires.

With the flatter torque curve on the 4bd it might not be as necessary. The cummins b series is know for having a low rpm sweet spot. For power and efficiency. From what I understand 3.73 are avaliable in the US from several vendors now as these gear sets are OEM just not offered in the US. MARKS 4BD gears are made to OEM spec by a gear manufacture in Italy.

We're planning on making our order next week some time.

This is for gear sets only not install kits and installation.

The report from someone who as installed a set in the US says a spacer is needed on the rear pinion. We'll be making some and can provide that instead of stacking shims to get there

Are these new Toyota, aftermarket, or take-outs?

New after market from a gear manufacture in Italy. 3.73 I'd the highest from toyota.

every one says "just differentials" has them. i never bothered looking into it because didn't the think the effort was worth it. there are a lot of overseas vendors selling OEM toyota gears new and used. it would help but it was not what i was after. i needed deeper. i had a dodge with 3.55 and could get 19mpg at 80-85 mph. i drive my dad's dodge with 3.73 and always thought the lower gears would be a better fit and wondered why dodge got rid of them.

Also i'm looking to get these ordered by wednesday or thursday this week

Gears ordered. I can't believe no one else was interested. I'll post up result in my build thread for those that are curious. it will take a couple weeks to get here probably a couple more to get them installed

I was interested, just unable to make your time frame. Be very interested to hear how the install goes and the results.

If these gears are a direct replacement for the stock high pinion third member and stock rear third id like a set !
Any chance I can still get in on this or can a taller gear can be cut ?

FYI
I contacted just differentials beginning of 2015 I was told then that they should have the 3:73 high pinion available late 2015.
I just sent a status request to Jeremy at JD.

If you ordered from Marks4wd odds are you will get them in 3 days if they are in stock. I don't know how it is possible but that's how long it took for my TC gears.

I ordered them Friday. They have them in stock and should ship out Monday and get tracking then.

I've told a few people now but we did order one extra set. That are up for grabs.

Built to OEM spec for an 80 for marks4wd so yes. Report has it that a .25" shim is needed. We'll find out.

Gears are here.
