I just sent Nick an e-mail, I assume thats the correct way right now?

lucky me, got the very last set. Shipping today woohoo!!!!

So I was going to call this morning and get one as well. Romer: you beat me out!

If any of you that bought one for a 1996.....it will not work because your truck has air injection. If you want to selll it.....I will buy it.

The 100 series started in 1998, and it's a V-8 not an I-6. I'm pretty sure there will be a 3rd group buy at some point. Unless Rob's dyno thing shows minimal benefit.

I would be replacing them for 1) manifold tick, 2) better sound (if any), 3) to be cool and put more stuff in my sig...

+1 for above

HP/TQ gains are minimal, did smooth out the throttle response in middle rpm range
All possible gains reversed with the addition of 275/70 R 18 Duratracs and 18 Steel Tundra wheels - :<)

There's a little bit of a sound change, but it's minimal.

My guess is we'll see around a 10-15% improvement in HP. The stock manifolds are incredibly restrictive. Either way, I'm just curious to put the mystery to bed and know for certain.

Got mine on Thursday last week...looking forward to seeing the dyno results, RobRed! Unfortunately for me, I won't have time to install them until late fall due to work schedule. Oh well...

If you're interested in results, donate $5 or $10. We may do a second truck on the dyno to ensure consistent results that eliminates the anomaly factor (weather, wheels, poorly tuned, bad spark plug, etc).

As the godfather of the DT headers, i will send $10 as well. I gotta know. What email at paypal?

Rob - That was quite an adventure but happy to get it done for this great site and group of people. This site has saved me more money and headaches than I could ever imagine.

i was trying to find the answer, but to no avail. Why wasnt Thorley able to make LT headers in the first group buy or were people only interested in shorties?

IIRC, the 100 had a slightly different design from the Tundie because of a couple clearance issues.
