Does anyone have a factory part number for a '93 runner auto antenna? Even a picture for visual reference would help. The motor works, I'm just missing the antenna and 'gear strip'

I think a call to your local, or @beno, toyota dealer might get you your answer quicker.

Your probably right. Thought I'd ask. Damn the dealer wants a Penni! And most aftermarket seem like s***. Found a couple OEM units on Amazon

My dad bought the antenna and gear strip for his 97 3rd gen 4runner a few years ago when it got flattened, then broke the strip when he turned the truck off. It was stupid simple to reinstall. No idea what he paid for it.

It seems that finding 3rd gen units is slightly easier then 2nd gen.

I just bought one on EBay for $13 shipped.

Ya, a lot of times you can find them on eBay (used OEM) for cheaper than the mast part. The power antenna does not work as well as the fixed mast for reception, so some people swap them out.

I converted mine to power when I had the harness out. I can't remember the last time I put it up. Radio sucks.

I like the auto antenna so when I'm on the trail it's out of harms way. I'm also thinking about trying to adapt a short fixed rubber antenna from a Tacoma or the like.
