So ah, anybody wanna pick me up in the morning?

While y'all were tossing them back at New Belgium, I looked at me belts and decided they needed to be replaced before the trip. Went 4 parts stores chasing down the belts (even Toyota dealership didn't have them). Should of took this as a sign.

Got home, belts come off just fine. But, alternator doesn't want to pivot and the belts won't go back on. I try a little force.... and end up breaking the nipple on the radiator. So, now the "25 minute job" has now KO'd it for the trip.

@FJ60Cam has a seat for me, but he's coming from the TN side. My wife will drive me there....but...anybody want to swing buy so she don't have to? I'm 5 minutes from exit 37. I've got dry wood and a chainsaw of any body has room for it AND can make sure the chainsaw gets back to the house.

Push comes to shove I can but it would be tight. In basically picking up 40 outside ashville. May have to leave the wood. I need to know by 10pm for sure. 864_325_2313

Have decided to chance the awning. Wouldn't be a wheeling trip without ripping something off the roof now would it!

I'd have to get the alternator to budge first. I can't get enough slack to slip the belts over the pulleys.

I can get dropped off at 44. Better yet, why don't y'all meet at 37?

We can squeeze you in a seat but have 3 dogs so itll be a little uncomfortable we can all stop off at 37 to pick you up. Its on the way so no big deal. Ill PM you my number we will be leaving from 44 around 815

Home Depot is open til 10:00 so I'm going to attempt a fix.

I have used gorilla glue epoxy on the radiator, works great, but Label states 24 hr cure

Hate to inform that we will have to cancel. Something popped up last minute that I have to fix before I head back to work next week.

We are pretty bummed.

That sucks Del!!

Jamie! The road was open to the right, so that would have worked. There was a gate, but it was opened all the way to 25. Did some more sploring and drove through
