Can you pm me the location of the camping spot?

I wasn't on my phone much and we didn't get connection until the 2nd day :( Sorry!!

We stopped at Weaverville and got a pizza and a beer and salad and then drove straight home from there. Made it home!

Thanks to everyone this weekend. It was great to get to meet everyone we hadn't before and great to see those we hadn't in a while :)

Jamie! The road was open to the right, so that would have worked. There was a gate, but it was opened all the way to 25. Did some more sploring and drove through

Google said it would work! :) Thanks for checking - any other cool "finds" from your exploring today?

We had a great time this weekend, as usual. I have to single out Izzy for being a great trail leader and getting us to the cool camp site on Sunday night. Camping with this group is a never ending series of experiences, laughs and heart felt moments.

Gabe, his son Evret, Ryan and Tandy hung in after a rough first night and made it to Izzy's spot on the second night, you guys were fun to hang with. Nine people and three dogs on the top of a mountain where no one else was even within ear shot. We had a pretty healthy thunderstorm the first night, all weathered it well with all tents holding up. We dug in a little better on Sunday night but had no storms to contend with. Jamie and Heather were the great trail buddies they have been since we met, thanks guys.

We started off with 9 rigs and we rolled out of camp this morning with only 5 remaining. The Tundra made it over the hump :)

Google knows somehow, the gates were open and we could have climbed the fire tower. The purple below is the route, I took FR 31, marked potential campsites, 2 side trails. Nothing strenuous, top pic is the overall route, lower is zoom of longer side trail that ended up on top of mountain, 2 truck camping area.

No way we were leaving Jamie out with the coyotes! We had to get that Tundra double cab 40' long truck over the obstacle, and we did! Both campsites served their purpose well, the 1st was great protections from the wicked storms. The second was just wilderness, but secluded.
And the shiskababs, hmmmm

Awesome time. Lets do it again! When you get a chance, post the video of the Tundra getting up the big berm, thats a keeper. Those traction devices and the left foot locker did the trick.

Sorry we couldn't stay for the weekend but enjoyed the limited time we spent with everyone. Brakes are back feeling like new, not sure why they overheated that quickly

Yes thanks to Izzy and Ryan for spotting me and picking the right lines and helping the Tundra get over the hump without major damage :) Everyone else was standing by to winch if needed :)

A few pics and maybe a video from the weekend - stuff that happened BEFORE Saturday - I was a horrible picture taker this weekend :( Hoping Heather has more.

The Friday PM beer get together location:

Who needs a Flippac or RTT when you can build a house? Still weirdly cool to me for some reason - he needs some better rear springs. :)

Everett and I had a blast! Ev is already asking about going on another trip which just happens to be the relic run!

Izzy, I love those pics from the future :)
