So, my injector pump was apparently in need of a rebuild so instead sourced an allegedly working pump from Canada. My mechanic (not a diesel expert) said he could put it in and he did. It is smoking a ton and is not running well. He claims the pump is bad but I have reason to believe that it was not calibrated properly and the timing is off. I am not confident enough in my own skills to tackle it and wondering if anyone knows of somebody in SoCal who could take this on. Thanks!

Somewhere on another post about injectors they talk about these diesel guys to rebuild injectors and stuff they have a central facility in Fresno I believe where they tune diesels
