That last pic has the holes for a clutch slave mount but it is on th eleft side, something not right there.

Our clutch slaves are designed to work on either side of the BH...

Mine look sorta like this...but it's a 3-speed BH

I see your problem, you've still got the cap on your beer bottle...there's an SST for that.
Oh wow. I had no idea the fix could be that easy!

Seems logical to think different mounts would be for different applications. I know a 40's BH mounts go on top of the frame and 55's inside.

Best quote in this thread!

Not sure how much shorter the 3FE water pump is but I run 3FE water pump and clutch fan.

I had the radiator shop move my radiator forward in the mount brackets to optimize room btwn rad and fan...

Yer sayin fj60 motor w/3f water pump, clutch fan and ? stock radiator??? How do the pulleys line up? 3 or 2 groove crank pulley?- end hijack.
Going for the tape measure...

I should be more specific - I am running the entire 3FE engine (and water pump) in my Pig.

See my signature...

Figured I'd go out and take some pictures of what I actually have on the pig right now.

You can see the rear mounts have not been welded in yet.

The front PS mount does not have the rubber in it because the holes do not line up. If I lined them up, the engine would be even more cocked (The PS side has to swing forward about 3/4").

I'm getting nowhere fast!

Not sure how to fix your problem, but here are some ics of mounts used to put a 3FE into a 40 - lots of good pics of mounts:

In case anyone out there is looking to do this swap, I used the stock 2F passenger side mount:

And 3F DS mount slotted 1/4" towards outside:

This effectively centered the engine exactly where a 2F would sit, I was not worried about shifting the motor towards the PS because I've got the short booster on my '76 that allows plenty of room for the Master to clear the intake runners:

Notice this way there is plenty of room for the stock rear hook and fuel hardline to cross the rear of the head:

Couple of pics of the stock 2F bell housing and transmission mounts:

The only thing that's going to be tight is the front exhaust manifold next to the mini-truck PS box:
