i concur. UCA is going to be your biggest problem. The rest is easy nips & tucks....You’ll rub the UCA, sway bar and probably inner fender liner in rear when you tuck the tire.
Ok but with spacers I won’t need to touch the UCA?i concur. UCA is going to be your biggest problem. The rest is easy nips & tucks....
Correct.Ok but with spacers I won’t need to touch the UCA?
Currently, I'm hitting the bracket where the mudflaps used to be. That corner where the bottom of the fender meets the end of the sliders. I definitely need to cut off some plastic and the bracket here. Maybe push the liner back with a heat gun.
Next, I'm also hitting the sway bar right where that curve is, you can see how the tire has left the marks. So my caster is at 2.5 right now and I can either push the wheel back a bit more and then would have to do a BMC. Or do a KDSS relocation bracket and not worry about hitting the body mount. What do you guys think?

Well yeah that's the easy part. Hopefully happening todayIMO messing with caster will create problems elsewhere.
I cut that bracket off my rockers. Little consequence to do so.
Well yeah that's the easy part. Hopefully happening todayThen I need to see if I can live with it hitting the sway bar or will I have to fix that. What is the recommended sweet spot for caster? The tech told be to keep it around 2-2.5 but I think I remember people here recommending 3-3.5?
I do have SPC UCAs. I believe they are on position 0. Right now, it tracks fine on the highway.I prefer no less then 2.5 degrees of caster. Being lifted with larger tires having higher caster say around 3.0-3.5 makes for a more stable and firmer steering feel. I shoot for .25-.5 more caster on the passenger side to help with highway driving and road crown. But it's not deal breaker for a good alignment in my experience.
I have been waiting for someone to try this 295 K02 size on their KDSS 200. Thanks @Caveman Cruiser for being the first to report the results. Looks a smidge too big without running the KDSS relocation bracket or using an adjustable UCA Like SPC.
With the SPCs you can tinker with the adjustments and get it to fit. I have seen @100kiwi set up with 295's and he made it work with room to spare both at the front and rear of the wheel well and KDSS.I do have SPC UCAs. I believe they are on position 0. Right now, it tracks fine on the highway.

@tbisaacs have you driven much snow with this size? Any noticeable differences between the 295 and 275? Part of me hears skinny is better, the other part says 1in doesn't matter with a 3ton vehicle.
That'd be my thought. Duratracs have been good in snow, just need tread to wear down to justify new shoes.Quite a bit and can’t really tell a difference. IMO a dedicated snow tire or chains make the biggest difference in snow. At least in these parts. It’s usually wet and heavy.
Is this expected under suspension compressed situations? (Will I make it home w/out spacers on 295/70r18 with tundra trd wheels)You’ll rub the UCA, sway bar and probably inner fender liner in rear when you tuck the tire.
You’ll make it home just take it easy. You might rub fender liner by the running board too.Is this expected under suspension compressed situations? (Will I make it home w/out spacers on 295/70r18 with tundra trd wheels)
Update: I love it. The Revo3 at 34.3” looks perfect. Can somebody help me sanity check my plans here-
2010 LX, stock except I've already put on steel 18" Tundra takeoffs.
I'd like to go 295/70/18 in either the Revo3 or KO2.
They will clear the stock bumper, but I may need to cut away some liner/flap, correct?
Obviously no control arm issues on the LX.
Am I missing anything?
I'm leaning Revo3 as I do a lot of highway driving and the off-roading is mainly on sand.

* for your LX
After nearly 15k miles running 275/70/18 Cooper STT Pros — I've concluded that I'm not a mud terrain kind of person. But that's another story. Today I installed (5) 295/70/18 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's on my LX and they fit like a glove.
Seriously, I don't know why this size isn't more popular. There are so many brands at this size vs 285/70/18.
Mounted the Falken's measure right at 33 3/4" tall and just over 11.5" wide. I have zero rubbing and they are oh-so-quiet compared to the mud terrains.
