Yeah but.... cue the mad scientist music....So we have got a whole bunch of loose ends before we can drive it. As any diesel owner knows they don’t like to get up to full temp without a load. So we only got it up to about 155*, about 20 minutes of running.
To break in the FTE we need to put a load on it so this week is about getting it all ready to go out for its first test drive. We won’t be running it much if at all until it is ready to drive.

I really did not have any intention of selling the 80 series. It just kind of happened. I had a bunch of stuff occurring at the same time and Wes wanted the truck. I knew he would take care of it so off it went. This truck is a little different because I’m winding down my projects. While I may sell a couple of trucks, this one is not on that list.Amazing truck! Glad to see it came to life. Do not sell this one @jomelo
Gosh Ian. Just... gosh.
A build of this caliber will likely garnish some attention for your shop down the road. Nice work, I am sure you have learned SO MUCH through this entire process, and it will pay back dividends for you the rest of your life. Well done and congratulations, I can only imagine the joy and pride on the first startup.
John - I have no idea how you can afford such an amazing truck, but you should be more than pleased with the result, and I commend you on your patience.![]()
