We just installed the J's on Mitch's rig as well matched up with the L shocks last week. We have now swapped all four of the Originally upgraded OME springs and front OME Shocks for different ones in search of the magic combo. As of now, I think we are totally satisfied with the 850J/863 Combo with the Shortbus/winch up front and 4x4 Labs hanging off the back. We simulated 250lbs in the rear and an additional 50lbs up front and are .25" higher in back on the left and level on the right. Went ahead and fab'd some 1.5" sway bar drop blocks up front and 1.5" spacers for F&R bump stops. Previously extended the brake lines and have zero issues with front d/s so double cardan not on our list for now. Gotta extend all the breathers and ad the second batt before the AR trip but that should finish him up for now.

Mitch do you have pics? Also how much lift does that give you compare to the old set up?

Painted utah rear axle and other bits.

Replaced a low pressure steering line and the power steering pump at Kelly's last night (thanks again Kelly!). Came out of the At&t store at Legends Sunday night to no power steering and a large puddle under the truck. Ended up being a low pressure line cracked and sprayed out the fluid, but since I wrestled the truck home about 20 miles, we went ahead and replaced the pump. It's never steered smoother!

Replaced power steering pump...again....1 month after putting the new one in...

Driving this weekend and it blew out the rear seal on it, puking fluid out of the back of the pump.

Cracked the high pressure hose removing it this time, so replaced it too.

NAPA warehouse in KC,KS (201 Shawnee Dr) was the ONLY parts store in the KC metro that had the pressure hose in stock, FYI.

Thanks again Kelly for shop time and pointing me to NAPA!

The 850Js brought the front up about .75" over the 850s so it's bascically .25"ish lower in front now with the 863s in back. We were sitting 1" low in the front prior and with the extra battery going in soon we wanted to preemptively address the added weight. I'll have Mitch take a few pics and post up.

Mike is learning how to do the most beautiful Powdercoat Work. I hope that he will teach me when he's done and write it down so I remember

It's all in the wrist, the air pressure, and having friends that have all the cool tools! ;)

Those are coming out way better than the first batch! Awesome.

This is from the first batch after sanding them down and reshooting. The rest should go better as I have figured some stuff out.

@StucknKS Those are looking great. It was tough trying to squeeze 2 in at a time and not get your hands in the goop. Mine looked pretty rough inside the beads but the tire covers all that up.

Are you guys hand sanding or do you have a media blaster ?

I originally took the wheels in and had them sand blasted.

Hand sanded them do to some runs in the powder coating process.

Notice the detail work, where he sanded off the casting marks to make it ultra smooth and custom.

All that will be forgotten with the first rock gash. :flipoff2:

Agree. I started just doing one at a time. Easier just going to take longer.

$35 each. Not exactly cheap but they used glass on them and they turned out great. One of the wheels had obviously been the spare. All corroded. Couldn't tell which one it was when they were done.

FYI Eagle auto stripping in KC, KS.

$35 a wheel? I bet the guy in Belton would beat that. I just had our Labs bumper shell blasted for $40.

Contact info? I may look into doing something with the second set of wheels I have.
