it looks almost exactly like the new highlander! Headlights are getting to damn small, I know they have the tech to do it, but doesn't mean we need to, just saying..... rant over!

My wife drove a 2012 Highlander prior to the Sienna and I liked it- it drove like a raised up Camry. Toyota did some good design work on the newest release. I don't want one but they look way better now.
My wife wants the new Highlander also!
Wife likes the highlander as well. But I think she wants another sequoia when her lease is over on 4Runner. 2 years left. She misses how big it was and easy with kids. But maybe in 2 years she'll want the 300 or move to my 200!

damn, for a quick second I thought I was looking at the fist spy shots of the 300 series.... Oh well, maybe looking at the redesigned fortuner will give us some insight on what to expect for a 300 series???

Even the first 300 series spy shots we see could look nothing like the real thing.
Check this vid out you can see some early 200 prototypes with a test mule body that was disguised ( half GX half 100 testing the 200 chassis/drivetrain) Some of the footage is 11 years old, even before the 2006 100 was released. Compared to 10 years ago i would think we should see more spy shots, then again this is the Land Cruiser, most of the testing is in the middle of nowhere.

That is a cool video. Really makes me wonder about the 300. Will they really come through with a hybrid that is tough enough for towing and all the testing they put into our vehicles? I don't see them making a cheaper vehicle. But what do I know?
I read somewhere that the next LX will be first time Lexus brand is used in Japan -- would LX debut there first?
