^ Nice picture. To think mine will look like that soon!!!
My biggest thing is that I can justify asking my parents for tires but it will be more difficult to explain going down to smaller rims xD; that’s more of a personal want than a necessity in their book. I’m lucky to have them cover all my necessities and really don’t want to push it, even if I know they’ll be okay with it. Hell they were even cool with the idea of a pop top bed on the roof, knowing they can get quite expensive
I may not salivate as much when looking at stock vs some RWs at the moment (I do love the look of smaller rims and bigger sidewalls, as well as the better grip for off road), but I still definitely salivate and definitely have considered that the rock warriors are something I’ll grow out of. Perfect offset, great reliability, resale and looks aside, maybe I just like to be able to say I have some Rock Warriors. If I still like them when the first set of 34s are done, then I’ll swap over then. That way I can experience both and see for myself.
I went ahead and got the hitch receiver with an 8 inch drop in anticipation of her sitting higher soon! It’s the one currently on her in picture above, and is a good fit even now before the extra clearance. Also, got a new 5 x 10 with 15 inch tires , jack and wooden floors/loading ramp, for $1050 out the door. The same one is 1500 before taxes at northern tools and that’s one of the cheaper places! Found the guy on Craigslist (I looked at a lot of places for the right trailer).
