Man!

I've got to start debating what route to take....

At least one direction I'd like to travel from NM to NorCal via Teton/Yellowstone and Montana, and the other one I'm not so sure about. Since I just drove from CA to NM via the Mojave route, I'm thinking perhaps heading back via Salt Lake City and Moab.....

I guess I'd better get the stupid 4WD working on the faux lux again (it went out on this trip--don't know why yet). Stupid-needlessly-complicated IFS.....

I've stocked up on some Green Chile beer..... I might even see if I can't pack some tamales or something for the trip too.....

I Stihl use my bottle coozy too. :)

I am seriously thinking of doing this trip again.

I will be coming down through Montana and or Idaho. Is anyone else coming from that region? I would like to either convoy with others or share a ride. The cost of fuel will be about 50% more than last year, making the cost close to a $1000, just to get there.

The free registration and cool tee-shirt sure is hard to pass up on though.

i guess that means you'll be helping me pimp the cash raffle right?! the more money we get in the pot, the better your chances of getting a free trip out of the deal. LOL!

That would be awesome Kevin. Gars and brews sitting around the fire :grinpimp:
Hope you can make it.

I met with my connection today and put in an order for a half dozen or so qubans. Not sure what type but if you have a preference, let me know and it might be do-able.

I'm thinking I'll show up late Wednesday night or Thursday AM. My buddy is riding shotgun so we should be able to do the 1400 miles in about 24-28 hours. I plan on leaving Calgary Tuesday night.

Should I bring my fencing gear to help with the pig corral? :D

I can manage any favorite, hard to get Canadian ales for people as well. Let me know.

George, I'll bring a few pieces of clothing from the latest River Shiver collection for the raffle, as well as all the freebies I can score from the liquor store.
