GSMTR 2024 is in the books. I am still rubbing my back plastic trim at full stuff, I moved the axle back a bit but might need some more. The Racelines with NO spacers did the trick on my 1600 + mile adventure.

Looks like a great time, hope to make it to one of these TN-based events next year.

This was our 5th year in attendance. It never fails to be the event of the year, great people, food, and trails. The good people and family vibe is strong. Trails range from easy to wild. I will look for you next year.

I modify and then learn I have further burdened myself with yet another maintenance task. Mill finish wheels (uncoated), require cleaning, polishing, and sealing. I started small and have applied and removed nev r dull to remove oxidation, and they are better but not GREAT. I purchased a product called alumaclear to seal them but have not gotten to that point in the perfection process. I understand that these are beadlocks and they are going to get fugged up, but in between the abuse I'd like them to be pretty. I found a YouTube short of what I’d like to do ultimately.

The nev r dull didn't quite do the trick, but the Flitz 5" fluffy ball drill attachment and their polishing paste did a bit better. I still have some pin head corrosion spots, that I am not sure how to handle.

little shore launch action.

Putting the annual Christmas Tree work

Christmas came early thanks to my dog, and she bought me a Wolfbox dash camera. Now I am not a big fan of dashcams because I feel like privacy of self and others is important. But, I almost get in multiple accidents a day (and no, it isn't me, I have logged a sh*t load of miles in my lifetime), and one recently went all the way.

An older woman was merging along with many others and I made the zipper openings like always, I could not go left because it was blocked, so we were all learning to play together. Everyone except this blessed soul made good choices that day, and without looking she came into the side of fat Marsha....... Marsha has always looked forward to this day and if I am honest may have enjoyed this encounter a bit too much. The poke of the tires and slider kickout proved too much for the woman and after spending what felt like an eternity having her car mangled by the side tread blocks of the Kenda MT2 in a 37' flavor she gave up her merge and yielded.

There was no damage to Fat Marsha, obviously, but the poor newer Toyota Corolla did not fare so well (sorry, no picture).

Merging onto a freeway is something they must not teach anymore, so many don’t know how 😥
