I got 1 more wheel sanded and polished. This is a PIA and I understand why folks get good money to do it.

Looks awesome! Certainly a very "beefy" GX!

I really miss the extra beef the 37's brought to the table....

Goliath Offroad HD frame brackets, installed...

I notched the CO bumper beacket and need to make another bracket with 1 frame hole, weld it to the CO bumper and bolt it.

Looks like an awesome trip! I keep wanting to go but always seem to be too busy! Perhaps next year.

I have found it has to be planned for a year out. We book our accommodations as soon as we know the dates, and work our projects backwards from that date (though the trucks are mostly built now). It is a good time; I would have liked to have seen more GX interaction. There were plenty of them, but apparently we are all introverts; I had 2 camping 2 spots from me and never saw or heard from them. It is a big event, and I know everyone has their own agenda, so perhaps one day.

I continue to be surprised that your 8" rear diff is surviving all of this! Great photos though!

I humbly submit that I don't drive like a moron and stay well out of the throttle. Using ATRAC when the circumstances allow, and the winch in other times. Same with the 37's, never drove it hard, just precise. I don't always make it, but I haven't broken it either. There were a couple of slick rock sections this trip that I wished the air pressure of 17 was 10 for better grip, but other than that, it was fine.

That being said, I have an LC axle in the backyard and would like to use a different one on this truck to get 4.10's w/o having to pay for them to be set up (OEM). For FL, driving 4.10's and 35 or 37's is just right.

Ok, I think we have reached the end* of the GX mod list. Looking for an LX.
