I wonder if a more low profile USB adapter would work. Cut a slot for this and drill a couple holes to mount it? Might also look nicer.

I would simply replace the 12v socket in the back of the center console with a BlueSea 1045 and get my power down there. If you are worried about Lightning cables and kids - fish the cable down inside the seat back.

Ok, guys. I think the USB option is out. It just simply doesn’t fit. I think you will just have to plug into the rear of the center console.

This is a group buy for a set of covers that will cover the ugly hole in the seat if you remove the rear screens on 2016-17 200 series. Some background can be found here:

I'll keep the group buy open this month (Feb 2018) only. To keep the thread fairly clean, please pm me to indicate your interest. They will be vacuum molded matte black acrylic. Each set will include mounting brackets and black stainless hardware.

Edit- the USB option is out.

Pricing will be as follows:

20 members - $175 per set
30 members - $150 per set
40 members - $130 per set

And think of all the folks out there not on MUD who would love to ditch the monitors! In the other thread, I just posted that it looks like the part numbers for the monitors are the same for the LX and LC, so the covers should fit both.

For those with the Terra interior, I found this leather supplier online, and ordered a sample to see how close it is.

I'd think it's a fairly simple process to cut, stretch, glue and install over the covers:

Ha. I’ll keep searching.

Maybe some mink or glove oil would help.

My kids have iPad minis for road trips; I don’t see what the purpose of a low res monitor would be at this point. Not to mention, they annoy me just looking at them. (The screens, not my kids. Though they can be annoying as well).
