I joined the forum just to say "I'm in" and will happily buy a set. Many thanks for tackling this problem, which has been bothering me since the day I drove my LC off the lot.....

My kids have iPad minis for road trips; I don’t see what the purpose of a low res monitor would be at this point. Not to mention, they annoy me just looking at them. (The screens, not my kids. Though they can be annoying as well).

You're in. I'm sure the forum will have the answers on removal/installation. I haven't done it (they were gone when I got the LC), but I'm sure it's simple.

The parts numbers for the base of the OEM monitors are the same for the LC and LX, so I think it's safe to assume the holes are the same .

The way the new covers are made, it will be an easy remove/replace if you ever need to re-install the monitors. I've had my monitors out/in several times for a variety of "messing around", so if you have any questions on removal, shoot me a PM. Mine are already out (and have been for months), so I can't easily do a removal process step by step right now.

So, my understanding is that the 16-17 LC's had these screens. Can anyone inform me as to what years LX's had them?
