Ive had my rear spare off all week and ill say its nice not having a heavy spare riding back there. Looks good too. Where did you source the spindle covers?
Ha, I tried to talk Matt into that route since Slee was selling their LX bumper. Evidently Matt chose to prioritize saving his own money over me telling him how to spend it. Nonsense!

Thanks to Jason at Trail Tailor for the Tough Dog Suspension. It is so much better than stock! 2 inches in front and about 3 in the rear. With the new springs and airbags it makes towing so much better. Less bounce when my dump trailer is empty and more comfort overall.
The picture on the beach is with the new suspension. The rest is in stock form. The truck handles much better even with the tent on top. The Rhino platform and tent weighs over 350 lbs so it handled like crap with the stock setup.
@Citius , truck looks great! we are picking up our tent next weekend. I'm curious what springs Jason installed in the rear.
hope the hurricane stays south of you guys.

I have the Comfort 0-600 springs, 30mm spacers and Firestone airbags in the rear. I believe the rear shocks are the 45mm adjustable. I also got the adjustable coilovers in the front and so glad I did. I think the front shocks would be a smidge soft with the truck fully loaded.
The ride is amazing when set to the softest setting when I was driving fast on the sand at the beach. I have all 4 corners set to #5 due to the weight of the tent for daily driving.
If you can get the spacers in the front as well. I'll be getting that done when I change out my UCA.
What tent are you getting? I wish I went with thr FSR High Country over the CVT Denali Summit. The set up time is longer and it takes me almost 30 to 45 minutes to break everything down myself. It's much less when you have help but not fun either way.
I'll be transfering everything to my M100 trailer this winter.
one of the local club members is selling us a tepui Autanna with annex. we were looking for a larger tent, as we have 2 small kids, but I got the idea to put them in cots, above our mattress and go with a smaller tent overall.
looking forward to seeing how that works out.
When you mount the tent. Make sure you leave enough room on the side with the annex to attach it properly. Bring some leveling blocks for your truck as well.

I daycare size cots are 52x24. My kids are 40" tall (3 &6). If I put them across the foot of the "bed" like bunk beds, I can keep them from pin wheeling in their sleep and kicking me in my sleep.
