Makes me cry too, Dan that the shipping would be monstrous for a ready made bumper. Otherwise I'd probably be in...as I LOVE this bumper.

Shipping is less than the discount. So basically you are getting it at a small discount and "free shipping"
 
Think of it this way, you get free shipping and a discount, who's going to offer that out of no where for no reasons? Am I right? Fin, there's a buyer in Fresno getting it shipped or pick up, maybe you can split with him. I have two bumpers combined shipping to canada for $280. The highest shipping in the US is $185 going to NY and MA.
 
I'm out for the bumper, but send my skid to Fresno if you can. I'll be in Fresno on Dec 14 to pick up.

If you have months to wait and like little to no communication then go for it. Did anyone ever get the 12v plug that goes in the bumper?
 
I got it, but I had to keep hounding Alex @ AOE for it. It took a couple months and I still don't have it installed. No need right now.

I understand there was a delay but lets be fair, we started the group buy during holiday season.
I started the thread on Nov 17th, we didn't pay up until a week or two of December, and people started receiving their bumpers in early January... There were delay in payments for a few folks whom didn't have the cash on hand, that had to be accounted for as well.
So lighten up fellas, it wasn't that bad at all. You have to keep in mind they want to spend time with their family and do Christmas shopping just like everyone else here.

If you want that 12v, I can send you mine to ease your pain and sufferance :meh: :flipoff2::slap:
 
It wasn't that bad. Socal was a great guy to deal with.
