ARB is junk compared to this bumper atleast if you are in to rock crawling. The ARB side wings bend up in to the body with very little ease. Look at anyone with one who wheels it and you will see the crease marks in their body.

Socal, do I understand this correctly?

$1,100 - $200(Group Discount) + [STRIKE]free shipping(according to the AOE Website)[/STRIKE] =$900 + Shipping

If so, I'm interested. How long until they can ship?

Makes me want to buy another LC and get two bumpers

I can't speak for free shipping Golgo13, if it's free I will have them ship to my house, about 8 miles away, LOL!!! Can you show me the link that says free shipping? That would be a damn good deal for folks in a kindom far far away.

SoCal, Here you go...

http://www.aoe4x4shop.com/shop/toyota-land-cruiserfzj-80-lx450-from-winch-bumper-with-safari-bars

When you just select add to cart and then check the cart, it shows free shipping.
I live in Michigan, so that is a huge help...
Of course, if it isn't truly free shipping, the discount makes up for it.
Its between this one and BinksFab, if I can ever get in touch with him.

I wish I were closer to the fab shops that make stuff like this. You would think Detroit and the surrounding area would be full of them, but no. And forget finding a fabricator in Ann Arbor. They are "Artists," not fabricators. HUUUUGE difference in my book.

EDIT: FREE SHIPPING IS A MYTH! But that is okay; it is still a kick-ass bumper and with the discount, you're still $200 better than before.

Whats the deal on these group buys?
If i wanted to order mine tomorrow and pick it up from Alex next week, is that possible?
I've talked to him before and he said they already have bumpers ready and that it would take four days to do the powder coating on it.

I'm so glad I saw this thread!

I'm glad you caught it, I'm glad i caught you, haha. I don't know if you can pick it up next week as stated, but I can call him and ask. This is a group buy, I would assume we would have to gather the minimum number of buyers before he dish out the discount. I was just wondering if he charges tax... let's all pay in cash so we can dodge tax too!!!

I live a short drive from Binks and still couldn't get one! AOE makes a great bumper and it's one of the best looking IMO. Glad I bought one before they raised their prices!

Guys, please don't get your hopes up with free shipping, I don't think he's going to take another $200 loss on shipping. I think that's how much he said from a previous convo with him awhile ago.

Jose, your truck is the reason I want one of these bumpers. She's a bad mama jama!
I wonder if I could just get it powdercoated in clear?

I wish EMS Powered made bumpers... :rimshot:

Golgo13, great minds think a like? haha, my LC is gray so I was thinking of leaving everything raw and have it clear coated. Was thinking of making my theme some what like Death Race. I also want this bumper bc of Jose and his photos.

Thanks guys! I was actually planning on leaving mine bare steel with a clear coat but Sean's rear bumper was too hard to polish and clean up, so I went with paint all around.

What kind of methods did you attempt to polish the bumpers? Orbit sander?
I'm thinking about leaving it raw and electro etch patterns or words/lettering on the bumper. Electro etching is relatively easy to do, it does change the content of the metal slightly bc it oxidize the bare metal, but not enough to change structural integrity.
