This site doesn't really offend me... I've just been unpleasantly surprised with the amount of snarky/inapt retorts I've gotten to my simple questions. I have no demur with shi*t talk/horsing around.

Have a good one!

Certainly none of your negative experience has been self-inflected.

Cheers.

Here's the decal I bought from SOR. I purchased this along with a few little replacement parts for my e-brake and that was it...quick and easy transaction.

I stuck the decal on after fixing my valve cover gasket, etc...looks like it won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Could possibly be purchased from other vendors or sites for cheaper...not sure.

Just as an FYI, CrusierDan is one of the foremost experts when it comes to the 80 series trucks, and has forgotten more about these truck then most of us will ever learn in a lifetime. Plus he knows everything there is to know about Toyota parts for our truck due to the fact he worked for a Toyota dealership for over 30 years. I know Some of us might come off as having a bit of an edge when we answer your questions, but it's all in jest. So Stick around, you'll learn alot from CruiserDan, and our other Toyota expert Beno about your truck, plus they'll be able to answer all your factory parts questions too. Peace

Yeah. He belongs in a museum or something.

Instead of putting Dan in a museum, if we could only take all of his Toyota knowledge, and somehow down load it into an item like an Amazon Alexa to have around our shop, now that would be truly priceless!!!!

Let's get some top men working on it.

Top men.

I like this idea: "Dan, what's the torque spec for the muffler bearing nut on a 1996 landcruiser?".......

Beno had this one in stock not too long ago.

You're hogging all the good cruisers. You never have shown me your rebuild, is that the one this sticker is on? I never got a sticker for my valve cover. :(

I did delete the Sombrero though.
