The fusible AM2 is gone again, now in the whole of central Europe there is none fusible link available and the first one is coming on the 10th of August, what do you guys suggest to do a trail repair? Actually parked in the McDonalds parking lot. What is strange is that this happens randomly ( for the second time ) and it's only when I try to start the car.
EDIT1:
So I measured the continuity on AM2 connector ( continuity to the ground ) and got 0.1 which means pretty good short right? From the wiring diagram it seems that the only thing connected to AM2 fuse are:
* ignition switch
* ignition coil ( after the ignition switch )
* igniter ( after the ignition switch )
* injectors ( i don't have those as the engine was converted )
* ignition ( 7.5 fuse is not blown )
EDIT2:
Just the note that the measurement was with the key off the ignition. So this will leave me with the wire shorting between the AM2 connector the ignition switch
@Onur, @jonheld @NLXTACY @e9999 @flintknapper - Is my assumtion correct ? Or can this be a broken ignition switch which is shorting out - never heard this to happen actually.
