The fusible AM2 is gone again, now in the whole of central Europe there is none fusible link available and the first one is coming on the 10th of August, what do you guys suggest to do a trail repair? Actually parked in the McDonalds parking lot. What is strange is that this happens randomly ( for the second time ) and it's only when I try to start the car.

EDIT1:
So I measured the continuity on AM2 connector ( continuity to the ground ) and got 0.1 which means pretty good short right? From the wiring diagram it seems that the only thing connected to AM2 fuse are:
* ignition switch
* ignition coil ( after the ignition switch )
* igniter ( after the ignition switch )
* injectors ( i don't have those as the engine was converted )
* ignition ( 7.5 fuse is not blown )

EDIT2:
Just the note that the measurement was with the key off the ignition. So this will leave me with the wire shorting between the AM2 connector the ignition switch

@Onur, @jonheld @NLXTACY @e9999 @flintknapper - Is my assumtion correct ? Or can this be a broken ignition switch which is shorting out - never heard this to happen actually.

AM2 is the PINK 30 amp fusible link with the grey connector. It can be replaced with a 30 amp fuse or circuit breaker.

I would be looking for a short between the AM2 connector and connector EA2 in the engine bay. At the very least, you could sub divide to find the short.

I thought that it is 15 AMP and actually created a fusible link with a fuse holder and put 10 AMP which was immediately blown. After that, I just measure the continuity of the AM2 connector to the chasis. Will go later to the car and try to diagnose the EA2, seems like it is actually under the fuse box in the engine bay :(

The ratings of fusible links are indicated by insulation color and are an industry standard.
PINK=30 amp FL AM2 (grey connector)
BLACK= 80 amp FL AM1 (smaller ring terminal)
BLUE= 100 amp FL MAIN (larger ring terminal)

So, quite embarrassing but this is one of the corners I cut during the conversion, the issue was with the Avital alarm harness rubbing on the steering column, I just wrapped that and put inline 30 amp fuse and all is good. Thanks for your support.

Installed the Atoto S8 premium head unit. Quite happy with this Android 2din radio. Benefit is to have the torque pro app pre installed.

Also already logged 5000km since the conversion and seems that there are no major issues , not bad as I did this conversion myself with basic tools and outside on the parking lot.

Time for the first oil change.

Mounted the deltavs console ,very good and solid design. Put egt and boost 52mm gauges. Still need to wire itup properly

A little update on the cruiser. Doing second oil change and also decided to get rid of the Kanz outdoors kitchen box. Instead I will have the front runner wolf boxes ,goes pretty well with the ARB drawers.

Changed the electrical system to the following:

* Victron Orion-Tr Smart Dc-Dc charger 12|12-30
* Liontron lifepo4 100mah smart battery

Overall the installation was very easy, I installed the battery in the arb drawer system on the side, actually, the battery is not that heavy.

Posting some pictures of the trip to Bosnia , Montenegro and Serbia:

This time I did not put the awning to the roof as it was interfering with the Maggiolina tent, honestly, I did not feel that I need it and was using the Kelty 12 tarp instead. Much lighter and more versatile solution.

Finally got the rear view camera installed and working. I plan to use the same switch as before and use multiple cameras ( using one RCV input to the head unit )

@jomelo -> little update on the FTE, was driving and suddenly I lost almost complete power as it went to limp mode. Stopped and using the diag I checked the CEL code which was P1121 accelerator position sensor, firstly I thought that I screwed up when I was putting the T for the turbo gauge but it really seems that the accelerator pedal is not right. Waited couple of minutes and the issue was gone. Will see if the issue occurs again.

As noted before, I am not using the Kanz outdoor kitchen anymore as it was quite bulky and heavy, also the Coleman dual fuel stove was not as good as everybody else say. The regulation of the flame was quite difficult. Instead of this setup I am using the Soto st-310 stove which is quite good. Pictures bellow:

The Soto stove:

A little update on the Snow Peak IGT , i bought the insert for the Soto st-310 burner, also insert for the Uniflame Unicera TG-3 grill. Pretty neat and good setup
