Right now we are just waiting on a Dakota Digital gauge cluster to show up for this 40.

As soon as it shows up we can finish up this truck and then Johns HDJ80 is coming in. 😉

Cheers

Here you go. The biggest difference in size is that the Rosen’s do not have the narrow portion that extends toward the rear view mirror. I like these much better than the stock ones as they have numerous options for adjustment.

Here is a shot of how the mounting compares to the original visors. The mounts are smaller but not really noticeable.

Awesome
Thanks, I'll be ordering

I am thinking ahead, I like to tackle a build or job in a certain order. Sometimes parts doesn’t allow that but for the most part, I don’t think we are going to be waiting on much.

So far plan formulating in my head is;
-Remove all the interior. Panels, seats, carpet, dash.
-Prep for sound deadening install and install it. We doing floor, doors and cargo panels.
-Wiring, including any and all Aux stuff.
-Wrap up loose ends on engine & trans including exhaust, fire it up after this.
-Install winch, drawers, sliders, onboard air system, fridge, lights, power ports and RTT.

There is a bit more but that is the bulk of it, I think.

So @jmlockwood all I am coming up with for under the seats is a tool/spare parts box, storage box or if you want an amp with the stereo, mount it under the seats.

Ideas? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sounds simple em

@SNLC

I think the Wits End quarter panel mount I ordered many moons ago is finally about to ship. Had him change the shipping to you. I think we could do a amp/speaker combo to replace the rear QP speaker.

Maybe we just leave that space under the seats empty for now? I could stash some jackets or other loose items under there.

Hey do those seats have heat? If so there will be a little plug under the seat. I’m fairly certain that set was not ordered with heat - but I’m not entirely sure. I’ve got three sets of Scheelmann heat harnesses so I’m trying to remember which of my four sets did not get heat. If you see the plug let me know and I’ll send you one of these harnesses.

More parts in, most from @Onur always enjoy his little stickers and things. 😉

This should be quite an awesome build.

Is Onur back in the buisiness of shipping parts to the general mud community again? Sorry for the hijack.

I’ll let @Onur chime in on what it is he is doing. But man, he has been instrumental in my various projects. A week or so ago we (he) ordered over 500 unique part numbers for a couple of projects. That was just for that week. I would still be looking over Partsouq diagrams without him.....and probably still missing some things. He has some good ideas too.

In today's 'best price' instant gratification market, guys like him with incredibly niche/specific knowledge are a dying breed. Going to be slow-going through very muddy waters once all of them are gone.

He has been instrumental in my project too (nothing compared to what you are doing), and am glad to see he is still active - even if on a limited or selective basis.

Has the sound deadening come to fruition yet? I’d really like to see detailed install photos and tips if it’s possible. I’m interested in doing the same to mine and am super thankful for installs like this to give me more info and pointers. Hope I’m not asking too much, if so I apologize. :)

Thank you in advance you legends!

@Workhorse a very heavy box of the stuff has been delivered to @SNLC shop. He had a little project with a 40 series that he wanted to wrap up first....but I think mine goes under the knife starting tomorrow. Ian is so good at posting up stuff so I expect he will have a nice overview of the sound deadening.

My Wits End quarter panel mount arrived from @NLXTACY as well. Just in time!

@SNLC alright alright alright! I shipped you a box of stuff today. The catch can.....some Slee rear sway bar drop brackets...ICOM radio....maybe some other stuff not sure. Just gathered up what I saw laying around and it should be delivered to you on Thursday.
