I am selling my 1996 Lexus LX450 ( Toyota Land Cruiser ) with 173,550 original miles on it. The truck has never been in an Accident and is 100% Rust free. It is equipped with factory FRONT & REAR LOCKERS ! The truck starts, runs, and drives just as it should. It does not leak any types of fluids or burn any oil, no funny sounds vibrations or smells. It is in beautiful condition inside and out, showing only minor cosmetic blemishes of a 21 year old truck. The Interior shows extremely well for its age, there are no odors nor stains in the carpet or seats. All leather is soft and plush without any tears or cracks in the leather. Comes with 3rd row seats. Headliner is also stain and dirt free. OEM stereo works and sounds great, antenna goes up and down just as it should. A/C and Heat work just as they should, Sunroof works great, etc. This is truly a collectors piece that will only increase in value.

I am a firm believer in preventative maintenance.
Below is a list of a few things that I have done to the truck over the period that I have owned it.

Brand New Radiator, Hoses, Fluid, and Cap.
Brand New Pirelli ATR 285/75/16 Tires all around balanced and wheel alignment performed with extended Road Hazard Warranty.
Fully Tuned up with new wires / spark plugs / distributor cap / rotor / Air Filter / Fuel Filter.
Transfer case, differential front and rear - flushed out and refilled with new OEM spec gear oil.
Oil changes performed every 3k miles.
Brand New Complete Exhaust System; Headers to Catalytic Converters, Muffler and Tail Pipe, with New 02 Sensors- Upstream and Downstream.
Brand New brakes all around.
Brand New AGM High Performance Battery
Brand New EGR Valve, Modulator, and vacuum lines.
Brand New Engine Belts and Idler Pulleys.
Front Knuckles repacked and greased.
WeatherTech All season floor liners throughout the entire truck.
Multiple center console bulbs replaced.
All Door Speakers have been upgraded to high fidelity Pioneer Speakers.
Brand New Left and Right Front Tie Rod Ends.
Brand New KYB shocks front and rear.
Brand New Windshield wiper motor.
Upgraded Sylvania Xenon infused ZXE Headlight Bulbs.

Lexus LS400 SunVisors.
Comes with an Alarm and Remote Starter.

3 Keys and 2 remote start fobs are included with the truck, a book of maintenance records and receipts, as well as the original Lexus Owners Manual booklet and Guide.

My truck has been very well cared for. I have also Detailed and paint Corrected the truck to remove all swirl marks within the paint. I wash and detail the truck myself ! It is currently top coated with Sonax Polymer Net Shield which provides 6 months of Protection- performed in October.

This truck NEEDS NOTHING ! It will be very hard for someone to find one as clean and as well cared for like this one.

It is listed on eBay at : 1996 Lexus LX BASE | eBay

Please feel free to message me for additional details or any questions that you may have.

This LX450 has many positives, but there appears to be lots of surface rust back here. A clear, well-lit photo of this area when it is dry will help your cause. No one will be shocked that a decades-old Toyota truck from the Northeast has some surface rust on the chassis. Buyers would rather see honestly documented surface rust than blurry photos, or worse, a concealing layer of thick undercoating. I'm not accusing you of anything, I'm just saying this photo creates suspicion where there may be no reason for it.

hate to burst your bubble but theres nothing for me to hide underneath nor any suspicions to be made. Sure you will find a surface rusted bolt if you look real well underneath. ( I really didnt think thatd be worth mentioning as thats a well known given of a car this age.. garaged or not !) Perhaps I need to change the title to 100% rust free body , 99% rust free undercarriage... lol

Nobody's calling you a liar on the rust, it's just that nobody can believe it. A 20+ year old vehicle from back east...We know it's got to be there. Show it off. It takes more than a little rust to scare this crowd. What scares us is NOT seeing what we expect to see. Plenty of scams going around. I've seen Arizona trucks with more rust on the underside. You'd probably do better if it was a little dirty. If you've kept it that clean we need to know your secrets so we can duplicate your results! Nicely done!

BTW, the previous comments about seeing rust are tongue in cheek. It's very clean.

If it's as good as you say it is, then provide a better photo of the rear axle and suspension.

Hope this gives a better image of whats present. Again sorry about the kicked up slush thats on the undeebody but I wanted dirty dry images to give everyone a reality look at the truck.

Thanks for your kind words ! Wash it once a week to start.. including that roof that everyone seems to neglect. Dry off the truck with a leaf blower to ensure no scratches are implemented while drying off and so no water sits in any small areas ! .. for my interior .. same thing just a simple vacuum once a week, wipe down of the dash ( no armorall garbage- I use pH balanced dash cleaner) ..for my seats I use a diluted solution I have mixed which is safe and gives great results for light cleaning, I usually use a horse hair brush in circular motions to lift up any dirt and wipe it off with a microfiber towel - followed by a vitamin E Aloe Conditioner; apply with a foam pad- let sit for a few minutes and then wipe off with a microfiber towel.. lastly I take out the weatherTech floor liners scrub them off with a diluted degreaser and water solution and thats my interior cleanup.. no food in the car lol.. I am guilty of keeping a sealed thermos of coffee with me at times however so I cant say no drinks ! Lol

I only have one negative, but it's my own thing. Black and green tend to be my least favorite colors on the LC/LX. The Sage color on the 40th Anniversary edition LC has to be my all-time favorite, though.

That said your LX is one of the CLEANEST and STRAIGHTEST rigs I have seen in some time. I think I may have to sell my LX and buy yours. WOW. Hmmmmm.... ride the motorcycle out and tow it back. LOL...

Hahaha thanks man ! Regarding the color I dont know ! I dig the black and white color trims the most.. and i did some research , black was the rarest color on the lx450 , 5,000 units produced in 1996- black the rarest color, then equipped with lockers.. pretty damn sweet lol and I wonder how many were out there in 96 like mine actually with all those options and raritys were produced, id guess a few hundred ?.. pretty cool to think about ! Safe to say Ive been bit by the land cruiser bug lol..

Have you touched up the fame paint with a rattle can since your ownership? Also, is that the original leather to your knowledge?

Beautiful LX! Would love to learn why you chose the Pirrelli's? What were on it before? I ask as I am close to replacing tires on my 80....has Michelin 275 MTX on it now I believe.

Frame has been untouched during my ownership and the seats are original leather to the best of my knowledge; soft, supple, and extremely comfy !

The Pirellis have been possibly the BEST choice i've made on tires ever. 285 fits this trucks wheel wells gorgeously and does not throw off the speedo or shift points. The Pirellis offer an outstanding improvement in handling, gives the truck an aggressive look, and are super smooth and quiet at ALL speeds.. I REALLY love them !

What you see is snow that kicked up from me driving it on the undercarriage not salt. The truck has been garaged its whole life here in the east.. if you find one in the east with a cleaner underbody let me know cause thats next to impossible.. its literally rust free.. lets be reasonable here its 21 years old not a 2017..

Im sorry but you're telling me thats snow? Wouldn't that have melted? Its salt. And I see rust up in that rear. Looks to me that what isn't rusty was spray painted over. "Frame has been untouched during your ownership" but how long have you owned it? Hard to tell for sure in these pics, but thats what I see. No vehicle that has gone 175k in NY will NOT have rust. I mean, why was the entire exhaust system replaced? Because it rusted out. Not trying to get into a thing here, just calling it like I see it. No doubt it is a beautiful truck inside and on top, and the undercarriage is better than many that Ive seen from the NE, and you may get your asking price. But there is some rust under there, and some of those rusty bolts are gonna break off when you go to remove them. I advise you to pressure wash that undercarriage, its rusting more as we speak! Ive got a 97 in my shop that is rust-free, Ill take some pics of the undercarriage and post for you to see. No worries though, like I said its a nice truck for sure, and it will sell. I like the black ones too. Good luck with the sale and good luck on getting your education.

^^ Negative Nancy was up bright and early this morning ! Lol sorry man but I put up pics and everything and you still have something to say I mean its just a little ridiculous. Im agreeing with you there is a slight bit of surface rust underneath, but as you can see youre the only one seeing the need to mention it. Have a good one and enjoy your land cruiser like everyone else does !

Nice looking well cared for LC - If you don't see your price on eBay and your open to offers look me up. I am looking for a LC or LX in this vintage. bshillam@hotmail.com. Cheers and GL with your sale.

Thank you for your kind words and interest in the truck however $12,500 is my price and cannot negotiate from that.

So I am looking at a almost rust free LC in the east. This thing looks great. Even if there were touch ups (not by you) it would be amazing as it is now. I have owned mine for 10 years now and the rust is taking hold of the frame. All mine is surface but yours is looking great.
