It has been imported and is currently in Penticton BC. We have owned this vehicle while living in Japan and was sourced for us by Toyota dealership’s owner- who was a good friend. He went out of his way to search for the best car he could find for us, with specifications regarding the condition of the engine primary, but also the general condition so it would be trouble free for us in Canada. When we purchased it, it had over 200,000 kms. There is virtually no rust as in Japan they do not use salt. We have driven it daily since then with absolutely no problems.



While in Japan, it was gone over with a fine tooth comb by Toyota and all necessary parts were replaced. Parts such as belts and hoses that were not broken were replaced with new parts to save us trouble in Canada. We replaced the radiator and the duel batteries just before exporting it, with Japanese parts.



It has a gone through rigorous government check in Japan, and then the export check and the provincial safety check in March 2016 in Canada. We have all the Japanese and Canadian records of repair and inspections. We also have the records of all owners and there has been no accidents with this car.



It is pristine condition with all original interiors, carpets window and so on. This vehicle is righthand drive.All power windows and heater/AC, including the rear passenger’s, work excellently. The only thing that has been altered is the new stereo by Panasonic and the new headlights/ reflectors required by Canada. New DOT Yokohama tires were purchased last year. As mentioned before, this vehicle is very close to original condition and includes small details such as cigarette lighter, holders and tire jack in the original bag.



Damage: 2 scuff to each side of the front fender, some small scratches on the paint, the top coat of the roof, small crack in the dashboard, scratch in the tint on the back door, and wear to the edge of the inner part of the passenger door. We can provide more pictures if need be. We have tried to show whatever damage (scuff/wear) there is in the photos.



The price asking reflects the costs of inspections, repairs, upgrades, shipping, exportation/importation costs and the original price purchased. Eligible for importing into the States EPA and DOT exempt per 25 year rule. Currently registered in BC Canada.

Cold Taco & Beno- The original post cannot be corrected. So, yes, thanks for that. You are both correct, our LC cannot be exported to the US. Sorry about that.
