Howdy,

Today I attempted to do an alignment on my KZJ78 turbo diesel Prado and ran into an issue that prevented me from completing the alignment and discovered some future MX to tackle.

After doing the measurements I figured out I needed to adjust my toe in. After loosening the clamps on both sides I tried rotating the bar with no luck. Even after using WD40, locking plyers to gain some leverage and putting the front wheels on cardboard, still no progress.

Has anyone ran into this issue before? If so any help or advice is greatly appreciated.

I also noticed that the drive shaft needed some grease so after completing that job I took a second look to see if anything else needed attention while I was under the truck. I noticed oil weeping from the drain plug and further back towards the transmission. I wiped all the oil off and I will check it again tomorrow to see if I can track down exactly where the oil is coming from if possible.

Does anyone have any recommendations for how I should handle this or what issue this might be?
See the attached pictures please. Thank you in advance and have a good one!

Alignment: pretty common for these to be a bitch to rotate. my alignment shop had to heat it up with a torch to get it to start moving.

oil leak could be anything based on that photo. See if you can look higher up above the oil pan to see if its dry. could be oil pan gasket, rear main seal, etc...

there is a big hunk of foam between your engine and transmission. press on it to see if oil comes out.
