Me too :)
We're not set on the engine setup yet... we might do a little something to push for some extra horses...

You'd be amazed what a cam and a good tune would do...

Why not Turbo or Supercharge it?
Onur told me there are people in the middle east getting 800hp with turbo. That should be enough power for you and keeping the rig more original.

A 800hp 1fz-fe is not a motor I would want to live with every day. More expensive and less reliable than a GM Gen III V8.

I would settle for 300-400 on mine!! :steer:

I've been on the fence about adding boost to my 6L because it is pretty damn fast as it is.. Adding 6-8# of boost with some good injectors and a tune would probably put me @ 600hp easily.

Well my dear friends...

Finally some good news :)

I just got back from Steelnutz with some updates... The transmission and the transfer case are in!! whoohoo!!!

Now we are having a minor issue with the clearance of the driveshaft vs the transmission pan... not a big deal...

I am posting some pictures of the installation completed since I was not able to take some shots of the process.

We are waiting for new FJ80 motor mounts and we will be checking for clearance of the oil pan before getting the engine in... we will decide what is gonna be done to the engine this weekend :D

I am pretty happy about the process so far... I know is just the beginning, but it feels good to have the ball rolling again...

I will keep posting some more stuff during this month...

Roger out!

Stoked for you. Please keep posting pics of the process and note any surprises. I would like a ride when you are done (since we are neighbors). Cheers, J

Try using a longer slip on the driveshaft and flipping it so the slip end is on the T-case side.

Or just use an earlier pan that is more shallow and filter :)

:popcorn:Sub'd...
