I would be more concerned about catching the neighborhood kid that sprayed graffiti all over your license plate.
before you replace the boot make sure the damage isn't being caused by a wheel....ie replace boot only to have it wear again.....just a thought.....
It was the old rim and the spare nicks it a just a bit, but I figure the spare won't be used often...hopefully!
I have a new set of 16 rims with 3.5 BS so they don't even come close to it.
