Yes, those are the classic sliding windows with a metal frame. From what I've seen, it's doable. Actually, in a Troopy I have in my farming company, another body shop in a small town, managed to take them off for a respray, and then installed them with fresh new gaskets. I believe it is metal frame with some kind of adhesive directly on the body. Don't have any pictures about the procedure, sorry.Thanks for the picture, I see.
