^^emotional response, (his truck hurt him)
😅

where I am that truck is $30-35 CAD all day
$21-25 USD ( or more )
if theres NO rust on the frame or rockers $28-30 USD.... minmium, here, in canada, cant speak for anywhere else.

If by nothing special you mean 5 speed, giant HD frame and diffs, all mechanical engine, beefy overall build, all metal dash, no safety features, removable top, real part time 4x4, 90k MILES, and LHD, ................. ya nothing special 🤷‍♂️

its worth what some values it at, to them....... to me its worth 3 or 4 $7000 honda civics
at 7-10k you would have a stampede to buy that thing before the next guy, including me and i dont need another one

just look on the classifieds on this very site....
someone in here just sold a newer one of these with a 1fz powerplant for around 45k with 10-15k of fun parts on it.

I would probably put that in the high teens to low 20's. The 3B's aren't as sought after as the 1HZ and 1FZ, but a dry 70 still commands a decent price. I've seen some crusty BJ73/74's recently for $10-15k.

I think having pictures and documentation of the body work would help. You can tell with the rust on the rims that there was Probabaly quite a bit of rust.

Any frame underbody photos?

IF you can prove good/correct bodywork, a solid LHD BJ73 could bring $15 or so to the right person.

I don’t think buyers here on mud would be very into this 3B rig. The HZJ are much more desirable

^^^ This Based on the rims I would expect to find more Rust.

No way those 144k km are legit. Mine is same model and age and has 335k on the odo.
Also, it doesn't appear to be originally from NL: No high roof.
There are several guys in The Netherlands that buy rigs in Iberia or France, restore them and sell them. (Mine was the same story). It's a business, and business is about cost vs profit. Some guys do a decent job, some just put lipstick on the pig.
If it was a EU vehicle, the paperwork would tell more about the history. If it has all new papers with no history: Suspicious.
Rust is the big question. I'd undo the cover plate under the seat belt and look into the rocker with a camera. Same through the storage compartment for the jack into the cavity of the rear quarter panel. Also lift the floor in the foot sills. Also inspect the wheel wells and cowl / windows frames. The question is not if it was welded up in any of those spots, but how.
OGBenno certainly is right with the mechanical evidences visible.
5 years in owning such a Cruiser: I wouldn't buy such a rig without indepth inspection. (Got away with it once 😂).

Found it on a German classified site: Its in Freiburg im Breisgau (South Germany), the ask price is 37000€ (which is ridiculous).
One more pic there: Oil pan is bashed and front drive shaft is mangled. That truck had a hard life.
Cheers Ralf
