Can these run off of 24 V or do they need to run on 12?
I would assume (perhaps incorrectly) that much like the LED dome light kits, this particular application should be able to accommodate a wide range of voltages.
Alberto, After watching that video I now feel very ashamed that I don't even like driving my HJ75 in the rain.

Got some motivation and finished the cable locker handle assemblies. When I bought the cable lockers from Sheldon, he sent me some photos of what some of his customers have done to install them and some other photos I've found here (some courtesy of Sheldon and some of Delancy)

Almost exactly a year ago (just to show that everything takes me forever to get done hahaha), I bought a little item from Onur @beno and it so happened that he was driving through Ohio a few weeks later and he just stopped by for a visit.
Pete @94SRUNNER went to dinner with Onur and hang out for a little while. There is nothing wrong with the H55 that is currently on the truck, but since they are still available from Toyota and the price is not terrible, I figured it was worth buying it instead of rebuilding the one on the truck when needed.

Since the only H55's that are available new from Toyota are the ones for the F/H type input shaft, I bought a brand new B-series input shaft for the H55 from Yan @Akella to later swap it into this new H55. I took it to JimC @FJ40Jim for him to do the input gear swap.
We later ran into some issues with the front bearing retainer as they are different from the B to F series, but they are also different from the early/late style H55. See these two threads for reference:

I later bought a set of AA 4:1 gears for the Tcase from Georg @orangefj45 along with machine Tcase halves (also from Georg) to install these gears behind the new H55. JimC @FJ40Jim also completed this step of the assembly.

Along with the new H55, I installed a grinded flywheel and a new Genuine Toyota Pilot Bearing:
A new Genuine Toyota clutch disc:
A new Genuine Toyota pressure plate:
And a new Genuine Toyota Throw-out bearing:
Most of these items were sourced via Onur @beno. Thanks Onur for being a great resource for everybody here.

Good thing that I was doing this as the transmission mount had seen better days:
The new transmission mount is part number 12371-58021 and it was available in the U.S. back when I bought it.

Is it something worth having rebuilt vs. just buying new now that its out? I'm really thinking about a 5-speed manual conversion on mine...this auto is just not doing it for me.... :-/-Ferg
