Got it idling again at 1200 rpms but no lower. Going to have to look at vacuum leaks.

What should I do about my tail lights? This is all I got.

I say buy some jeep lights and rock them;)

Gabe there are tons of rear lights you can make work for this. I can't remember did the mini trucks have the yellow turn signals or were they incorporated into the brake lights?
 
That year should have the separate orange/yellow section at the top for the turn signals, then clear reverse, then red stop/ running lens. 3 separate sockets. You gonna put a bed on it or go flat bed. If you are just wanting to get it legal I would either find some replacement 3 bulb housings and zip-tie them to the frame, or look at some of the halogen or LED trailer lights. If you do go with an LED turn signal then you will either need to replace the relay to get rid of the fast blink or get used to the fast blink.

If you are looking for semi-permanent then you could use a piece of angle iron or channel at the rear of the frame with cut-outs for your light of choice. This would also likely help keep the po-po happy serving as a sudo rear bumper/ cross-member as well.
 
Needs to be street legal. I was figuring on something permanent. I like the angle iron idea. Hoping to make major headway in February.
 
Flat bed for now as well.
 
Ordered a new replacement door hinge today. Got a little more tweaking to do then I can decide on cab swap. Leaning toward not doing it. Might could get $100 for it to go toward something else. Hoping by the 1st of march to have a tank installed and have it moving on its own power again. Getting excited!
 
Anyone tried to clean a gas tank with cider vinegar before?

Well there in a complete one for sale in NC on Craigslist for 1900. I pass one everyday on my way to work that has not moved in years. Thought about asking if they would sell. Would have to be cheap though.

Well the fuel cell came in yesterday. I guess I am running out of excused to not be working on this thing. Oh yeah there is a huge heavy a#$ spare cab in the way!:hillbilly:
