body shop pics

went by body shop to see progress, they already replaced the rusted windshield hinge area with the donors I bought from SOR, worked out perfect. They sprayed the whole sandblasted body and parts with some oily stuff to prevent from rusting while they cut and replace steel prior to priming. I am working this weekend to tear down top to take to them next week. I have new CCOT gutter system in which I will have them put on weld it and then rust bullet it before putting back on.

Hopefully somebody can tell me what the part or #no for that broken blue fibre-type washer/isolator is ?

Thanks a bunch Theo, I appreciate it, I will try and find something similar to those bushings.

Great looking build!
Got to ask ... where are you sourcing all your 3B parts from?

Does this look right Theo? (Very hard to tell from the small image on the EPC.)

Part number 28622-57010?

Thanks Tom ! You never fail to surprise me. I will use that no to see what we come up with. A buddie of mine is currently rebuilding another friends B motor and I sent him that pic. Even though we never got any of the B series motors in ZA, he reckons he might have had one of those in his shop and will get back to me.When he does I will report back. I suspect it might be a case of the B ser engines having the same parts as the 2.4L motors again ..;)

Edit: And from toyodiy.com it looks like you are correct, as usual http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/diag_ARq5uY.png

Edit x2: On second thought it actually looks more like 28623-54010 *** STD. PART $2.64

Exactly the same as for the 3L(2.8) engine which means an easy find in ZA for a change and no waiting 6 weeks ex Japan !

got most parts from SOR, 4WheelAuto, Cruiseroutfitters, ebay aus, CCOT,

Diesel42, thanks. I have a goal to be rolling again by end of Nov? We will see, I will let you know. it should be a whole new animal since everything has been rebuilt completely, so should be much more quiet, smoother, more powerful (turbo), and a whole lot more.
